A friend took this pic of me,while I was taking Hipster pictures.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.Hipsters ARE the Dark Side...
As in, you expect it to be the evening before the wedding, or as in, you consider it usually a lot further ahead in time? One of my oldest and best friends had his bachelor party this past weekend (a week before the wedding, which is something I'd never heard of, but oh well).
No shunning I approve.Looks like you had fun Nick!! I hope it was a blast.
Speaking of Bachelor parties, I went to a Bachelorette party recently (we went clubbing) and the theme outfit was loud and obnoxious. Also, I realized that it really has been a while since I posted a photo of me out of costume, so here I am.
And yes. *hangs head* It's from instagram...don't shun me to hard.
Traditionally, the Bachelor party is supposed to be on the groom's "last night as a free man," but as sixpack references, that tends to create problems for the tux-wearing half of the wedding party the following morning. As in, you expect it to be the evening before the wedding, or as in, you consider it usually a lot further ahead in time?
Well, yeah, thing is - I've been to many a bachelor's party, and I don't know anyone - anyone - who's ever done it a week or less before the wedding. That, to us, is just a silly trope from US TV, I guess - most have been somewhere around a month or two before the wedding itself. Often unanounced/as a sort of surprise party. As in, hey, you thought you could sleep in today? Think again, here we are at 6 am to dress you up and kidnap you! Oh, and your breakfast is liquid and contains looooots of yeast, hoppe and barley. Ahem.Traditionally, the Bachelor party is supposed to be on the groom's "last night as a free man," but as sixpack references, that tends to create problems for the tux-wearing half of the wedding party the following morning.
No need for shunning or any other bad feels, you rocked that theme hard and won any title for it!loud and obnoxious.
...pants on fire!Looks like you had fun Nick!! I hope it was a blast.

Do it, girl! Doooooo eeet!Thank youuuuu!!
I kind of want to wear them all the time...
You should have shown her the "bachelor party" sequence from that movie that had the bride-to-be freaking out over what would be going on at that moment at her fiancee's bachelor party ("he's probably doing coke off the stomach of the stripper he's banging... the wedding is OFF!!")... and the scene changes to 4 nerdy guys drinking beer and playing pool in a quiet bar debating how much money would have to be down there to reach into a public toilet to retrieve it.Never been to a bachelor's party.
Even before my own wedding.
My wife decided that since bachelor parties traditionally involve drinking and strippers I wasn't allowed to have one.
I'm more of a soda and boardgames person honestly.

Hookers?Having never been to a bachelor party, and only one wedding, I'll be best man and expected to host a bachelor party within the next year or so.
I've got a few ideas and while there will be drinking, there will be no strippers.
