Even without that video, it's a place I avoid. That's gross. I can't imagine that they were really intending to throw out that food if they were still on trays.

Fact: You can never have too many pairs of boxers.

And before anyone tries posting some picture where a dresser or room is overflowing with them, you're wrong. You can still have more.

Lot of flooding going on. Some of the pics I'm seeing on r/toronto are NUTS. As for my apartment; we have no power and one of the major streets just below us is flooded. This is crazy.

I went to a Mexican Restaurant today. I tried to engage the waitress in some conversation. I asked her what the best thing on the menu was... She shrugged her shoulders and said that different people order different things and walked off... Fucking Really? there is not something that the cook does better than everyone else?

I ended up ordering Tamales. I fucking love Tamales... but these were out of a can and nearly twice the price of the home made ones I can get across town.

I hate it when a waiter does something like that. I'm asking you what is good here, tell me something good! If it all sucks, tell me to leave. It's not a difficult task to know your menu and at least have one "go-to" item to recommend to somebody that asks. Gotta say, home made tamales are some of the best, place here in town that sells them by the dozen and they do an awesome pork tamale.

when you are used to it, its easy to be prepared for it. when three times the area's RECORD DAILY rainfall comes in two hours, you simply aren't prepared for that.
You must forgive him his blase attitude, Houston sinks below the waves about once a year, to re-emerge a few weeks later with a fresh new infestation of skittering horrors.

It's clean at that time also! That's the most important part, the flooding cleans parts of the city.

I miss my old Mercury. People let me pass in that car. Until my door was even with theirs. Then some drivers would floor it, and block me in the passing lane.

In the daytime hours, I just wore a collared shirt and a cowboy hat... Wave at every cop car and keep going 80. (this was back in the old 55mph days too.)

Got power again. At least for now. The city is instituting rolling blackouts to carry the load since one of the transformer stations is still flooded. They are expecting more heavy rainfall tonight but the sky looks okay so we'll see. If it doesn't rain too bad I think all this should be pretty much restored to normal tomorrow. Except maybe the GO Train tracks.

Also, this was right below my apartment; I could actually see this flooded area from my balcony (It's drained away now though):
/spoiler]

Who else feels sleepy on rainy days? I think its cause I had a rain machine to lull me to sleep and now the sound just makes me sleep instinctively.

I'd honestly never heard of them, although I am disappointed it isn't a machine that controls the weather.
Well I just call it a rain machine cos its the only setting I use, the official name is white noise machine. I never really got that name since the color white can not make noise, nor can any other color to my knowledge.
