I just jumped all over the WB Humble Bundle. $5 for both Batman games GOTY and a few extras? Yes please.

That's an insanely good deal.I just jumped all over the WB Humble Bundle. $5 for both Batman games GOTY and a few extras? Yes please.

They allow gifting through steam, I think. That's an insanely good deal.
Also, pity Humble Bundle doesn't allow splitting up the games now, otherwise I'd be begging someone for a Scribblenauts Unlimited key.
They allow gifting now. It's different than it was before, but all the games in the Bundle are separate. See this post on the Humble Mumble blog: You Spoke, We ListenedAlso, pity Humble Bundle doesn't allow splitting up the games now, otherwise I'd be begging someone for a Scribblenauts Unlimited key.
Huh, so I could've begged for a Scribblenauts from someone. They allow gifting now. It's different than it was before, but all the games in the Bundle are separate. See this post on the Humble Mumble blog: You Spoke, We Listened
I...can't remember whether I already have or not.anyone who hasn't bought FTl yet...Come on, man. Do it.
To be honest, this isn't tempting me as much as the usual humble bundles. For one thing, the prices are higher, previously I could get five or six games for five dollars, now I can only get one at best. Also, I can't dictate that the charity gets more money.Humble Bundle announces The Humble Store, a new permanent store-front with set prices, but 10% to charity (75% developers, 15% Humble) and daily deals. The games come with Steam keys (some also have DRM-free versions and/or Mac and Linux support) and there's a sale on multiple titles to kick the store off:
Don't Starve $7.49
Rogue Legacy $7.49
Natural Selection 2 $6.25
Orcs Must Die! 2 - Complete $6.25
The Swapper $4.99
Prison Architect Alpha $14.99
Euro Truck Simulator 2 $6.25
Gunpoint $4.99
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare $6.25
That's pretty much how I feel. Though, in all fairness, it's been a while since I checked in on it.I'm interested in Prison Architect, but waiting for it to stop being a buggy pile of shit.
I see it as a good option for buying indie games and making sure some of it goes to charity as opposed to just buying it on steam. It's not going to be as big an impulse buy as the bundles. To be honest, this isn't tempting me as much as the usual humble bundles. Also doesn't help that none of the games really grab me. There are some good ones in there, ones I'd like to play eventually, but it still feels kinda meh.
There's also apparently some sort of Arkham Origins DLC in the bundle, but you don't have access unless you buy the original first (which makes sense). Since I don't own it...Anyone interested? [DOUBLEPOST=1384376664,1384376350][/DOUBLEPOST]And yeah...The super limited numbers are ridiculous. 5 games in under 10 minutes? I don't know what timezone logged on, but yikes. Your 101 games aren't going to last long this way.[DOUBLEPOST=1384376791][/DOUBLEPOST]They're damn good deals though. Tales of Monkey Island for $5? If I didn't own it already I'd be all over that. The Humble WB Games Bundle has been expanded. Added, for those who beat the average:
- F.E.A.R.
- Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection (MK 1, 2 & 3)
- Guardians of Middle Earth + DLC
- LOTR Online: Steely Dawn Starter Pack
- Gotham City Impostors: Professional Kit
- The Millennium Skins Pack for Arkham Origins
If Arkham City wasn't enough to get someone to beat the average, I'm not sure that any of this would be. Having Fear to round out the trilogy is nice, though.
To build up an illusion of scarcity, and try to provoke impulse buys. The ticker even counts down from the top no matter when you load the page, to look like copies are flying out the door, even if it's been selling slowly.I don't really understand why sales of a single game are split up like this - of course it's going to bog down like this when the same game is up at the same price ~2 hours apart.
Now I'm happy I bought the bundle instead of simply begging someone for Scribblenauts Unlimited. I like Mortal Kombat. The Humble WB Games Bundle has been expanded. Added, for those who beat the average:

They don't run out, you can still buy more. They just don't have them on sale at that price anymore. It's very similar to steam's flash sales, only much faster since they sell out based on how many people are buying them. It drums up interest and makes people check the site more often. How can they run out of digital copies of a game?
Yeah, I was talking about that game with some friends. No one wanted that shit. Especially not for $15Jack Keane 2 was sitting there for like 7 hours.
D'aww, and I was really looking forward to playing a MK again. Oh well. Better luck next time.Shit, Mortal Kombat comes with GFWL. Piece of crap.
Also, it sucks.Shit, Mortal Kombat comes with GFWL. Piece of crap.
You hated all three of the first MK games? Also, it sucks.
