The serpent has not yet become the prey. I'm withholding drawers-shitting until Kin or some other ophidian makes an appearance.

By that reasoning, wouldn't gloves of all sorts cause problems?
Well, not really, I mean your hand in the glove is still holding the item. If you loosen your grip, the item falls.

Here Forgath is holding the Hammace, and the Hammace is holding the axe.

I mean, if I was the DM I'd probably allow it, since it's actually pretty clever and cool. But I'm not the DM, Herbert is, so I'm wondering if Herbert's going to allow it.

Unless the hammace is sentient or functioning independently of Forgath, I doubt it's an issue.
What he said. A lot of DM's have a very lenient definition of what constitutes touch, allowing for touch traps, warding circles, and others to discharge through gloves/10-ft poles, unless it makes no sense in the situation.

Looks like Forgath managed to:

knock Kore prone. With him flat on the ground, it might be time to dogpile onto him and keep...

What? What did I say? Why is everyone looking at me like that?

One thing I have to wonder. Why is Complains the one getting the key, what with his screwed up left arm?

And how did Kore manage to cut the rope connecting his shield to his back, unless Lay on Hands somehow severed it? Regardless, he still has a piece of rope stuck in his body around the throat or chest area... I'm starting to think Kore might not exactly be alive, but that's just me.

I think Kore is supposed to be emblematic of what a REAL Min-Maxer is more than Min-Max: everything about his weapons, armor, and abilities is designed to give him a huge advantage. Normal hand crossbows not doing it for you? We got these crazy QUAD AUTO RELOADING hand crossbows in this supplement! How about a shield you can anchor to the ground and hide behind without using up a hand? Plus you can take this feat here to make up for using two weapons at once, which meshes with this....

Basically, Kore is a hardcore min-maxer. He only exists to kill monsters regardless of anything else, which is why he hasn't uttered a FUCKING WORD since the comic began. Min-Max is more of a casual min-maxer... he's getting tons of bonuses, but he's still having fun and trying to do some in-character stuff now.

I think it's pretty likely that after Kore healed himself that he checked to make sure his shield moved freely.

Thunt's wife used his account to tweet this:

"We had to take Tarol to the emergency room with chest pains early this afternoon. After some tests, they're keeping him in for a while. I'll tweet again when there's more info. -Danielle"

He did a whole monologue about how he will destroy any taint of evil he finds when he first appeared when he killed that Dwarven kid in the monster tavern.

Is this what he's cursed with? His "Detect Evil" being skewed to include everything, regardless of alignment?

And is that CHIEF on his left 'wing'?! Right one looks like Kin, but that's not possible... is it?

Fuck, I think that IS Chief. Bastard.

And awesome as this update is, I can't help but feel it's just delaying the inevitable. I can't see how Forgath can get out of this alive. Well, okay, one possibility is Kin warping in and somehow altering the equation, but that's still a very unbalanced fight.

Yeah, for him to have a Remove Paralysis spell as a Paladin, he'd have to be at least 10th level.

I think someone on the Goblins forums calculated that he's level 20+. I seem to recall the number 23, but this was from a while ago so my memory's fuzzy.
