[TV] Talk about the last TV you watched, the catchall thread

Watched the first couple episodes of Breaking Bad.

Not sure I'm gonna keep going. I can handle the drugs, the melted body slush, etc., but I don't know if I can handle the family almost figuring things out and Walt having to hide it.

Oh you sweet summer child...

If you stick with it, you will witness a journey into the abyss.

Funny you should mention this: my friends just got a French bulldog yesterday and named it Walter White. I asked them if we should just call it Heisendog or The One Who Barks.

Has anyone watched the start of the new 24 that debuted this week? I'm thinking of watching it, but I honestly had stopped watching the show a long time ago. I think around season 5...ish. I remember the last season I watched (and didn't finish due to lack of interest) had a nuclear bomb detonate pretty early into the season (like first 4 episodes).

It wasn't bad, it's already set stuff in motion for betrayals and DRAMA. I think that I've been away from it for long enough (I don't think I finished season 4) that it's at least better than reruns. It's Jack, he's a badass.

Does his wife have no knowledge of their finances? Credit card this, credit card that. Geez ...
One of the reasons Breaking Bad is so good is that they don't just gloss over this sort of thing, like, say, Dexter. His actions have actual consequences with his wife and family.

I just finished Young Justice. I don't drop the f-bomb often, but I'd like to take this opportunity to say, "Fuck you Cartoon Network". Way to can a really good show.

So not long after canning Almost Human, Fox has also apparently put Dads, Surviving Jack, Enlisted and Rake.

I didn't watch any of them save for Jack, which I thought was pretty funny. I guess at this point Fox just wants to bomb the whole prime time lineup and start fresh.

Brooklyn Nine Nine, Silicon Valley, Veep, New Girl, Archer, or Louie (although it can be quite morbid)
I love Archer and Brooklyn Nine-Nine - so the problem is that I'm caught up!

Louie and Veep have both lost something for me; Veep I think I keep hoping for it to be more similar to The Thick of It.

Haven't checked out Silicon Valley or New Girl, though, so I'll give those a shot over the next while.

Grimm. It's been a good season. I'm not so sure about the new character they've introduced now, but it is shaking things up.

Man Veep is SO good. So, so, so, so, so, SO good. So is Louie. Silicon Valley has turned out to also be fantastic. If you like Office Space or King of the Hill or things that are funny watch it.

I liked Veep, I really did, but this season's lost something for me. The Thick of It is the British show that inspired Veep; I highly recommend it. I love it

First episode wasn't their best but the second episode, where they were debating her abortion stance? Holy shit that was funny.
