I've often said I want to reincarnate as a kitty.
I actually watched an older lady do this with her daughter in the mall a few years ago. It was painful to watch it all unfold in slow motion...the lady obviously misjudging the escalator, her (grand?)daughter trying to pull her up, and me, maintaining a respectful distance so nobody would think I pushed her.
I was probably close enough that I could've kept her from falling, but I remember thinking that there was no possible way she was going to be that clumsy and...oh...oh...there she goes.
