That was great! PBS is one of the only reasons I check the regular comics anymore, and to see him working with Bill Watterson... that was a giddy little treat!

I've loved Calvin & Hobbes since I was a kid, and I was very sad when it ended. I've always hoped that Bill Watterson was still working on Calvin & Hobbes, but just not publishing anything. I wanted him to be working on some perfect water-color story of the boy and his tiger, a masterpiece that would be completed on his own schedule, and published when he was good and ready.

Say, that's a pretty attractive idea.
Now you have me wondering if any Chinese artists have tried to recreate C&H but in the old-style traditional block & watercolor.

Wait, did John Allison restart Bobbins?!? That was one of my first (well, it my 4th) webcomics I ever read! I LOVED Bobbins! Why does no one tell me these things?

And in Bad Machinery news, Lottie goes through really intense crazyness. Not just cartoon crazy, the kind of crazy where you want to break the borders of reality and give the poor blighter a hug kind of crazyness.

I really like that she's amused. 1) If you're married to Gabe, I'm pretty sure these kinds of things are expected rather than a surprise, 2) not all wives care about/are offended by porn-watching (myself being one) and c) she probably is having the same reaction I would, which is "What happens when I do this?"

I'd say I pushed the envelope on (2). As most folks know, I initially met Pauline in the Everquest beta when I was 19. My character (a monk) was named Amano Jyaku. THAT was a fun explanation later down the line.

Edit: Re-"funny" tag: I gotta say it's impressive that I didn't have to explain who that is. Not met a lot of ladies familiar with Urotsukidoji.

Man, Vattu is turning out to be just a downright epic webcomic. We're talking like George RR Martin scale epic. Rice boy may be my favorite webcomic of all time, and Vattu isn't really surpassing it, but it's amazing in a different way. I think it should be turned into a cartoon or something. Evan Dahm should have WAY larger exposer than he does. In my opinion he may be one of the greatest webcomic writers ever.
