Are you talking about Shovel Knight? If so, you automatically equip it when bought, but you can swap it at the Armor Vendor anytime you want once you own the suit.I just bought armor, and...I can't find it in my inventory. How do I equip it?

Oh, yikes. I hit no when I meant to hit yes. I'm an idiot. Are you talking about Shovel Knight? If so, you automatically equip it when bought, but you can swap it at the Armor Vendor anytime you want once you own the suit.
I don't know what you're talking about >.>
Oh good, Donkey Kong Country Returns syndrome. I think I was up until 1:30 in the morning fighting that one, refusing to go to bed until I beat it.It's not a huge game, I'm on the last area now, but the stage secrets and such will pad it out (and there's a New Game+).
But don't worry, the last boss is FUCKING BULLSHIT OH MY GOD I HATE EVERYTHING so you'll spend some time on that, at least.
I had to quit the game after a good 30 minutes of attempts. I'll pick it up again later today, maybe, try again.Oh good, Donkey Kong Country Returns syndrome. I think I was up until 1:30 in the morning fighting that one, refusing to go to bed until I beat it.
I guess there will be updates too, like the other playable knights, gender swap, battle mode.
I just beat it. The first form is like 1000 times harder than the second. It's not a huge game, I'm on the last area now, but the stage secrets and such will pad it out (and there's a New Game+).

I must have been doing something wrong on the second form,I just beat it. The first form is like 1000 times harder than the second.
I must have been doing something wrong on the second form, for whatever reason 9 out of 10 jumps from the shield I wouldn't be close enough to do damage. I pogo'd the shield, swung, and whiffed it almost every time.
Yeah, there's 8 Knight levels, a few bonus stages and bosses and 3 boss stages. How many Knight levels are there? Just eight?
I figured. Well, I'm not speeding through, but I'm glad I bought those Ubisoft games that were on sale. And SQUIDS Odyssey is coming out next week; I might check that out.Yeah, there's 8 Knight levels, a few bonus stages and bosses and 3 boss stages.
The levels are all pretty long, plus there's plenty of secrets, too.I figured. Well, I'm not speeding through, but I'm glad I bought those Ubisoft games that were on sale. And SQUIDS Odyssey is coming out next week; I might check that out.
I kind of wish I could stop the game mid-level without losing my progress. The levels are all pretty long, plus there's plenty of secrets, too.
Yeah, though I kind of get this momentum when going through the really tough stages and just hope there's no reason to pause coming up while I'm clearing the place.I kind of wish I could stop the game mid-level without losing my progress.
It'd really only be an issue if my bus was about to reach the bus stop outside work. There are just some 3DS games that don't lend themselves to that kind of situation (Luigi's Mansion 2, Monster Hunter 3).Yeah, though I kind of get this momentum when going through the really tough stages and just hope there's no reason to pause coming up while I'm clearing the place.
It's like you want that meme to keep going...Okay. I have started the PC version of Skyrim.
...
I liked the console version better. Sure, the scenery is somewhat prettier (though given the distance I sit from my TV when playing the PS3, who cares?) and there's a bit more dialogue. Also the load times are shorter. But, the mechanics were better to me on the PS3. Especially lockpicking. I miss the rumble feedback, like a lot. In both combat and lockpicking. I know I can get a controller and have a similar experience, but I'm talking out of the box comparison here. For the record, I do have the hi-res texture pack. I also have everything set to ultra super maximum high deluxe with a cherry on top.
Well, it's often enough that the way you learn something is the way you like something. I admit some tactile feedback in the lockpicking would be nice, but really once you break a few hundred picks and your skill gets up there, it won't matter as much.. and they're not hard to come by.Sorry my opinion doesn't conform.
In my opinion, I can't understand how anyone can stand ANY first person games on console. There's just no substitute for a mouse in first person shooters/rpgs/whatever. But, some people just like what they like.I don't understand how people can play Skyrim with a gamepad. It feels so wrong... no hotkeys... no mouse control...
First person? No... I'm ok with a controller in third person shooters though. I could probably go either way on those. In my opinion, I can't understand how anyone can stand ANY first person games on console. I don't think you'd need to explain that to anyone (except maybe Fade ). It's Skyrim; we've all played it, we know why it's fun.Y'know, it's weird, I bought the Saints Row games, the Mass Effect games, and Bioshock Infinity this Steam sale, and I also have a ton of other games in my backlog... but for some reason, I keep going back to Skyrim. I honestly can't tell you why Skyrim's so much fun.
