More feeling kinda useless. He's used to having to fight just to get everyone to do something useful. Now everyone's just kinda doing what they should, which leaves him without a role. Sure, he might be surprised a bit, but I think it's more feeling like his role is diminished significantly.

I've heard the term before, but I prefer "Naugahyde" in my conversation even though it is a trademarked term.
