While Terrik turned down my offer of a couch, just so everyone else is aware, I'm only 15 minutes from DTW (Detroit metro airport) so if you have a long layover and want to increase your "halforumites I've met face to face" or just don't want to sleep in the airport, let me know. The airport is on the west side of Detroit, and I'm halfway between Ann Arbor and Detroit, in Ypsilanti, MI.
I wish I would have posted that earlier than when I did. It was 3AM by the time I set my 3DS down and checked the forums again. I would have LOVED a couch after the 7:55PM flight flew off without me. Again, the offer was very much appreciated. I managed to get on the 8:32AM flight despite being #8 on standby, and now I'm back in Florida. I need time to process the fact that I've come home and am not just visiting like before. Somewhere in the last several years "home" switched from Florida to China and now it needs to switch back again.

I'll probably just hang out around the Confucius institute at USF when I start pre-med classes :p

Speaking of Epcot, trying to decide if I want to do a Disney honeymoon. Growing up in Florida, I've been to these parks a dozen times...but it WOULD be something really cool for Jun.

Did you know that in spanish (or at least ecuadorian spanish), "cancel" can also mean "pay". This is particularly frustrating for me when I'm in line waiting at an atm. Some people keep pressing "cancel" when the machine ask them to confirm their transaction.

I know I mentioned it before, but at work I had to deal with a situation where I would try and cancel something and it would respond with a dialog asking me, "Are you sure you want to cancel this? [OK] [Cancel]" which is very confusing.

Bradley Hardison here was on the run for 9 months after felony break-in charges landed against him. When he showed up to the Elizabeth City Police Department's National Night Out Against Crime to compete in a doughnut eating contest (congrats on the victory, by the way), police were able to apprehend him and put him in custody.

Friends are encouraging me to do Man-Elsa cosplay at AWA this year. (I've already done Man-Tifa and actually got featured on Kotaku for it.)

I'm trying to decide the best way to go about it. I try to find a balance between good and terrible so that it averages out to "pleasantly goofy". Can't decide if I want to just put on a dress and a wig and call it a day, if I want to dye my beard and eyebrows (and subsequently hair so it matches after the con), or if I want to take it as an opportunity to go full crossplay.

I'm thinking not on the last one, as even attractive girls have a hard time with Elsa. And I'm not even a small-framed dude. I have a lot of masculine features. (Ladies.)

why can’t i be pretty

Dude, there is absolute no doubt in my mind that you would rock Sven to a completely different level of awesome cosplay.
