Actually it was for something I wrote on /r/explainlikeiama. And, predictably, it's being torn apart on the /r/bestof comments. :p
 
I have OFFICE HOURS....
Well, hour, but still.
Heh. I would never commit to office hours or I would set them at the most inconvenient time (Mon 8-9 or Fri 4-5). I just told them to email me if they had questions, but I wouldn't answer emails after 7 pm. I wasn't a very nice TA, but I got good reviews!

I just found an electronics part store in Houston on Fondren. It's awesomely old school. Difficult to navigate, full of racks, new stuff, pulls, salvage, and a makerspace. I may not be at @stienman 's level, but I do alright, and this is a fun place to get lost. Cheaper than RadioShack, more expensive than online, but more fun, too.

I wonder if that's the same place my older sister bought her computer parts from, 15 years ago.
