What are you playing?

Bully - Scholarship Edition.

Wow, this game is REALLY good. I mean, the controls are awful, probably one of the worst console port jobs I've ever played control-wise, but I really dig the story, the situation, the characters, the satire, the sandbox factor, the ability unlocks... just.. everything. This is a better GTA clone than GTA 4 was.
I think I still have that on my wish list for the PS2.

Just finished the new borderlands, a great game, but if you are anything but a diehard fan that cannot wait for the steam winter sale, do NOT spend 60 dollars! I got pulled to be a 4th in a group and bought it only to play the entire story solo after all my friends got to busy with their families and women. its a great game, but only when you can play with a full 4 man group.

Yeah, it's buggy and adds nothing much to the game series. I'd almost say it was almost a DLC, but it's a bit big for that.

From what my brother tells me (he's cleared the game), it's nowhere near as long as BL2, which was disappointing, and there's a lot of back-and-forth nonsense in the main questline to pad out the game a bit. The only real addition to the series' mythos is Jack's descent into becoming Handsome Jack (and getting some background story on the Hunters that become NPCs in BL2).

thats the feeling I got too, like it was suppose to be DLC pack 5, but at 20 hours they couldnt call it that, they should have sold it as an expansion to the second game(because that's what it fucking is) not that i feel like there is a good reason to bring those heroes to elpis, but its basically space Australia, the game took me 20 hours to beat 100%, and upon starting true vault hunter just went FUCK IT, and made a god character that I could run hard mode with as grinding really just feels like a pain to me.

The story is neat, I am glad I picked Wilhelm, because he basically personifies why Jack went off the deep end. it was also interesting to know Jacks deep seated hatred for vault hunters was caused by
Lilith and Moxi fucking him over repeatedly in the end game.

TF2 and i suck at it. haven't played online yet, even the bots are too hard.
Set the bots to the easiest difficulty level. If needed, reduce their numbers. This will give you time to accustom yourself to how each class feels, the layouts of the levels, etc. As you get better, up the difficulty level and number of bots.

You probably shouldn't play against easy bots too long though, because it can be easy to settle into their artificial playing styles, which tend to be quite different from real people. Bots are far more predictable than real players.

I JUST WANT TO PLAY BEYOND EARTH BUT IT WON'T UPDATE AND MY HUSBAND'S WORKED RIGHT AWAY AND IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!

Bayonetta 2: A lot of old stuff has been fine-tuned, but otherwise the core is the same great game and it's fantastic. My only gripe is that the cutscenes for some reason have aliasing and artifacting. No idea why. The game itself looks perfect, but dip into a cutscene and you're going to see some lines. It's weird.

That actually happens with many games on my computer. I don't know if there are some crappy codecs out there or what, but when the in-game looks better than the cutscenes, something's wrong.

I think everyone is still using BINK for pre-rendered scenes. It was fine 4-5 years ago, but we need something better.

Bayonetta 2 cutscenes are not pre-rendered. They're done in-engine, and you can easily tell this by the way that custom costumes remain on her during the cutscene.

A lot of them are in-game, but some aren't, and they have aliasing and weird pixel lines. The most obvious ones are when you first start up the disc (and it happens for the first game's Wii U version as well). I also see them in some of the Rodin bits.

A big improvement to Bayonetta 2 over its predecessor--no cheap stupid deaths that drag down your score, like cutscene QTEs or falling deaths that count. I know they probably didn't fix this for the first game's Wii U version since it's mostly just a port, but I'm hoping anyway.

So, after a detour with the Mass Effect games, some Football Manager, a bit of Dwarf Fortress, I still go back to Skyrim.

And, of course, being me, I added all sorts of lore-unfriendly mods that basically turn it into Skyrim: Strippers Edition.

So, here's a picture of me and my two female companions, up in High Hrothgar, trying our best to distract the Greybeards with our skimpy outfits.

Is there a Skyrim mod where you can dress like an average Joe? Like just walk around in a t-shirt, jeans and a pair of Chucks?

Bully

Picked this up pretty cheap during a PSN sale. I'd played a little bit of it before but not very much. I must say, it's a pretty engrossing game and surprisingly holds up to time.

Makes me hope that we'll see a new Bully game, but given that Rockstar Vancouver shut down, that may not happen any time soon.

I'm kinda switching between Madden '13 and L.A. Noire.

Pretty good season on the game I have with the Niners in the Connected Career Mode (I'm coaching offline) though I'm a little confused by what to do with the scouting system they implemented... I get that I'm supposed to look at his best traits and see if he's worth it, but after that, I don't know what to do. Do I sign him up? Wait for the draft? Earn back the scout points I spent/scout all his traits, etc.

If you haven't bought Beyond Earth yet, save your money, it is a Civ5 mod basically and not worth $50, hell they didn't even bother to change the diplomacy dialogues.
Am I the only person who's loving this game? I haven't had this much fun in a Civ game since Civ 1 or Civ 2. It has a few of the flaws from 5 (like not being able to stack units) and only having eight factions to choose from is a bit limiting, but the level of customization available is awesome.

Still playing Dominions 4. And I still think that it may be the best 4x game ever made. I may have broken 1k hours on it.

Been playing Pokemon Y again, getting ready for the new games. Anybody got a minute to help me evolve my Porygon? There's a nice Timid Rotom with perfect EV's in it for ya.

I don't find non-stacking units to be a flaw. Stacks of 30+ units was ridiculous. :p
