I feel like I'm gonna get all Gilgameshy here but please, hear me out. Tonight, I expected to spend the evening alone playing video games and calling it a relatively early night before I begin a long stretch of nights tomorrow. I knew my girlfriend was going out with a friend of hers and that I would be free to play Alien Isolation to my content. And I was. I spent most of the evening in bed, in the dark, playing Alien Isolation (it's great by the way). Around 10:30, I get dragged out by my girlfriend and her friend who have decided to come to my house to continue drinking and I am to join them. Great! I think. This should be fun.
We drink and talk about pretty much every topic under the sun. Around 1:00 am my girlfriend's friend starts to insinuate that we would be a great threesome. Here, I have to admit, that I have ZERO interest in threesomes. Not one bit. I laser focus on whoever I'm interested in. I don't actually want to admit a third person in. I actually thought my girlfriend would have been up for it, but I made the first move in making things clear, as much as I drunkenly could. Her friend, in mundane terms, was an easy 9. Generally, she would be above my girlfriend in attractive terms (I don't really agree but I love one of them, so I'm biased). I shot it down.
Later, after her friend had left, she told me her friend was really into the idea and that she figured I wouldn't be and she honestly wouldn't really have been either but she would have gone along with it if I wanted. I didn't want to. She's the only person I'm interested in.
This is a humble brag post. I turned down a threesome. I'm pretty awesome.
