Games on SALE!

Rachel is a regular on the youtube series "Teens React." I've posted some of their videos in the Awesome Videos thread a few times, and remarked on how Rachel makes me feel funny in ways that a 35 year old man should probably keep to himself.
"Mr. Bandit, would you like to see me lick this lollipop?" :p

400 Days is only a waste because only -1- of the characters has lasting importance and some of them don't even show up, even if they all leave together. None of their stories get resolved... it's just safe to assume they died during Season 2 because it's not like we're going to see them again, right?

I noticed a few of them show up in season 2. It's a short, self-contained side story, and for what it was I enjoyed it.

So what's everyone's haul so far? I've nabbed quite a bit so far:

-Walking Dead Season 1 & 2
-Octodad
-Outlast
-Mount Your Friends (it was less than $2, I had to)
-LA Noire

Unless I see a massive sale on the Lego games or something, that'll probably be it for me. Still waiting for Goat Simulator to go down to something like 75% off.

AC3 and Black Flag, as well as Prison Simulator. That's actually three more games than I'd planned on buying, since I've been having fun with Skyrim and I don't see that ending any time soon (seriously, mods are awesome), plus I have a significant backlog of games.

Finally got around to getting the Skyrim DLC. Bought into the early access for Road Redemption. Sadly passed up on buying the on-sale price Planetary Annihilation and Meridian: New World based on reviews on steam saying the devs went to shit. I was looking forward to PA especially. :/

I bought Knights of Pen and Paper, that's all that has really grabbed me so far, since I already own most of the games I want.

LA Noire is a great game, just be aware that the PC port is kinda shit. Outlast is easily one of the best horror games I've ever played.

LA Noire starts out really good, but the further I got into it, the less the story/crimesolving made sense. I ended up pretty disappointed by the end.

My biggest frustration is 30fps Rockstar stahp. And forcing it to 60 breaks the physics in the game.

At least it looks like Rockstar -finally- learned how to PC with the upcoming GTA V

Lemme think...

- Dangerous High School Girls In Trouble!
- GTA IV + all DLC (apparently this has a GFWL issue though)
- Valkyria Chronicles
- Hotline Miami
- Fallout 3 GOTY
- Shadowgate Reborn
- Damned (needs to rebalancing)
- Star Wars: The Old Republic - Rise of the Hutt Cartel and Shadow of Revan

I have a few on my list that I would like to get, but waiting for the prices to drop lower in a possible daily deal or flash deal for steam. GasBandit, I picked up PA during the summer sale as a gift, but have yet to install it. I haven't read all the reviews for it as of yet. Hmmm.... going to have to take a look again.

Has anyone heard anything about Remember me or This war of mine?

This War of Mine - If you can deal with the bleakness of the game, it's an emotional, interesting survival game where the focus is on making it through the day and not on fighting people. I highly recommend it.

Remember Me - This game is just of... blah. The memory altering sequences are a lot of fun but the rest of the game feels like a watered down Arkham Asylum at times, which makes it incredibly boring.

If anyone is looking for a LEGO game, then GMG has a good deal. Festive Encore the prices are pretty much the same as Steam sales, but there's also a coupon code 25HAPP-YXMASF-ROMGMG to get an additional 25%-off almost any games. I got LEGO The Movie Videogame for $3.75, and it came with a free gift of LEGO LOTR (which I already had, but I'm sure I can find someone to gift it to.) Also in the encore sale, the Batman Arkham games, the new Gauntlet, Bastion, Scribblenauts, The Walking Dead and more. Most, if not all, titles redeem on Steam (just check to see if the game lists Steam as it's DRM).

Hmmmm, Enemy Within is 67%, slightly over 10$.

I want it but... will it go lower.

I already finished it many times... but now want it in my Steam library.

Tell me games I should buy.

Am I the only one that finds Steam's sale update today a little insulting? Here's what we have:

-Democracy 3 - The only game at 75% off
-Lego Batman 3 - 25% off
-GRID Autosport - 66% off
-Contagion - 50% off
-South Park Stick of Truth - 40% off (I swear I've seen it lower)
-Planetary Annihilation - 66% off
-TrainFever - 25% off (TrainFever, you guys!)
-And then they list the latest Call of Duty and Football Managers at FULL PRICE alongside the rest.

EDIT: Never mind. Things have been updated and changed. Now it's:

-Democracy 3 - 80% off
-Lego Batman 3 - 33% off
-GRID Autosport - 75% off
-Contagion - 75% off
-South Park Stick of Truth - 66% off
-Planetary Annihilation - 80% off
-TrainFever - 40% off
-Call of Duty Advanced Warfare - 25% off
-Football Manager 2015 - 33% off

Also, I think Super Meat Boy's still on sale for all two people who didn't have it yet, a whopping 74 cents.

Most Star Wars games are on sale, and also a shitload of them are in a Daily Deal Bundle for 50 bucks. The Jedi Knight games, Dark Forces, Force Unleashed I/II, KotOR 1 and 2, and a lot more.

Maybe people aren't finding much because they already have a ton of games and there's nothing much more that can sate you. Start playing through your backlogs, guys.

Want to as well but wish they'd respect the 75% off Enemy Unknown has.
It's newer, so wouldn't be as discounted just yet. That's common for these sorts of sales.

I feel like I've been getting a lot, but in my defense, I have a new gaming rig that can play ALL of it. :D But I've still been following the general rule of 75% off or less than $10 (or more often, less than $5), so I haven't been spending a LOT.

The guys who developed Rust must think it's super hot shit, I've never ever seen it go on sale. I get the feeling by the time it does, nobody will be playing it any more.

Enemy Unknown + Alll DLC (including within) = $13 or so
Enemy Within = $11

2 bucks more

It did take Skyrim a long time to get any kind of sale, too, I remember. It sat at 50 bucks for a crazy long time before finally starting to get chipped down.

If anyone wants some of the trading cards for the steam sale, I have a full set and then some. Supposedly you can craft them into gems for games or something like that. Whatever, just message me if you need/want any. Later
