Funny Pictures Thread. It begins again

Here it is. The Goof Family Tree:
http://www.donaldisme.dk/Goofytree.pdf
Goofy has apparently been in relationships with "Sylvia Marpole", "Stella". "Cricri Bonpain", "Marissa Mouse", "Miss Martin", "Zenobia", and Max's mother, "Penny". Never heard of any of these characters. I thought he dated that cow that shows up in the old Disney shorts.

I don't know who is tracking this, but I am terrified of them and yet love that they do it.

Hrm, everything else I've read has listed that either Penny or Glory Bee are the most likely "possible" mothers for Max, but they are 2 people, not the same person (the picture in that PDF is an amalgamation of the two characters - Glory Bee's lineart but the hair color of Penny), and there's no actual canonical link in the Goof Troop of Goofy Movie canon. It is explicitly said that his mother died (Goofy makes reference to her being "up there amongst the stars," and given that Goof Troop is not science fiction, it's extremely unlikely to mean anything else). It's not explicitly stated how she died, but reference is made to how terrible a driver she was, so many have the headcanon that she died in a car accident.

At any rate, that guy's "research" seems to make a few leaps to judgement.

He's had an on again/off again thing with Clarabelle for the better part of the Disney canon. They might just be really close friends at this point... you know, the kind who really do love each other but work better as friends than as a couple?

I've got to hand it to that guy for going through all the old Goofy comics. Meanwhile, on Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse, they are currently setting Goofy up with Clarabelle Cow when needed for the story, but they're not always together like Mickey and Minnie.

Okay, I didn't watch Goof Troop much at all, but didn't he have a wife on that?
You're probably thinking of Pete's wife, Peg. Kinda sad that they let Pete stay married, but Goofy gets to be a widower.

(Also, I think Disney might be more willing to reply if they didn't use the term "fucked".)

Yeah, this is what I'm talking about. Goofy and Clarabelle tend to hang out a lot, but it's not like Mickey and Minnie or even Daisy and Donald.

And zoomies wonder why they get shit for being polly prissypantses.
This is and isn't true. They absolutely, positively do not get paid extra to live in a poor barracks as an allowance. An E-5 for one branch is going to be given the same allowance as another E-5. What CAN happen, however, is that the Defense Department can say that the living arrangements are shit and cap the amount of their allowance they have to pay at 75% of their allowance, effectively giving them extra pay for living in a bad situation.

That said, the Air Force has way nicer accommodations for one simple reason: it's an all volunteer force, even under the draft, and it's members tend to have skills that would allow them to live very well in the private sector if they decided to leave. So the Chair Force gets nicer perks because the alternative is spending millions to teach guys to fly and maintain aircraft... guys who have every incentive to leave once their 4 years are up to pull in serious money with the airlines. About the only other MoS that compares are other pilots, other mechanics, and medics who get free medical training that schools will honor to get a degree.

Okay, there's one of those "Sesame Street pictures with terrible text" going around. Most of them are dumb, but this one made me laugh out loud like a loon.

Well, not entirely correct. They could be getting additional pay because they are technically in a war zone, but since they are air force, they see no real combat. So they are getting extra money just to sit in the barracks. But the other military guys get the war zone money as well.

Okay, maybe I didn't think that picture through. I just loved the way it ended.
I don't blame you. 3 years ago I'd have thought so too. Now, it cuts. But the last thing I want is to have people having to second guess themselves with "ooh is this gonna trigger GasBandit?" So no worries.

Hey, there have been quite a few doozies I've deleted before hitting "post" specifically because I thought they would be painful for you, no matter how awesomely they fit. And they say I don't have feelings.

That emotion chip is really paying off, huh?

I can tell you how pissed off my (ex)wife was when she found out I was making a notation on my phone's calendar for every time we had sex.

...this is also how I found out she was digging through my phone secretly.

I decided once not to ask, just to see how long it would take. 4 months before she even mentioned anything at all.

You'd think I'd have had some kind of similar problem, given how my situation turned out... but I can honestly say I never "went without" - abarring obvious periods of "having a fight" or whatnot, but usually the make-up sex was pretty dynamite at the end of that. Even though she was carrying on behind my back with someone else, she kept me clueless and happy. The woman was insatiable, I guess.
