The I'm Drunk/Wasted/High thread part too drunk to count

Eh, I've had nothing terribly exotic myself. 2 yuenglings, 1 Darwin Belgian Dubbel, 1 Shipyard bluefin stout and...another yuengling.

Your necro is starting to feel xdrunk.... helloooooo ladies of halforums...

**Blush** no no, its ok, ill see myself out..... just.... one more for the road

I think this is likely the first bar i have been in that has a sign posted "1 beverage per hour minimum."

I did not mistype that....
Really? I see that fairly commonly. It's to avoid people buying one coffee and staying all day/night, (ab)using wifi, free toilets, taking up space of paying customers, whatnot. 1 per hour isn't exactly a lot and nobody says they have to be alcoholic.

So this picture floated across my RSS today, apparently to mock drink names in Japan, but my first was "JEEZUS is that sum $7 long island iced tea?!"

Now, granted I haven't been a big time bar drinker for over 10 years, but I seem to remember paying $3 for that drink. So I googled it up, and now people are talking about them costing anywhere from $7 to $12?! So I figured I better ask here to find out if drink costs have really doubled/quadrupled in the last 10 years. Shiiiit. More reason than ever to stay home and guzzle Sunny Brook.

Hell with that. 7 bucks gets me a bottle of rotgut which does the job just as well.
I discovered these two go very well together.

It's a little more expensive than your Popov or Windsor Canadian, but it's much better for you and significantly less of an attention-getter depending on which bottle you choose to keep. Plus it's easier to vary the dosage depending on mood.

Bladder Busts!!
They tried doing that here, but the Texas BATF shut it down.[DOUBLEPOST=1429712284,1429712209][/DOUBLEPOST]In other news, I discovered last night that Deep Eddy vodka is the first vodka in a long time I find possible to drink straight from the bottle without a wince and shudder afterwards. No aftertaste! Pleasant surprise.

They were shut down ages ago in NB as well but they were awesome while hey lasted. Never be the first one to need the ladies room...never!

For making our own vanilla extract or for pie crust, we strongly prefer Tito's, but we're not much for vodka as a drink, so I can't comment authoritatively on it as a beverage.

The one I'm talking about was free for the ladies. There were a bunch events like that or $5 nights at the campus bar. $5 got you two beers and a shot of tequila.

At my college it was Drink N Drown. $5 cover $0.05 per beer or well drink or $0.50 a pitcher.

Good Times

and lots o puke.
When I was in the navy in corpus christi, Bobarubas had 5 dollar cover, 10 cent bar drinks on Tuesday nights. I'd often get into a cab and slur to the driver "Get me as close to the base as a buck thirty will get me". ;)

Boy I tell you, guys, my favorite drink has changed from Sunny Brook and Coke to Deep Eddy and Mountain Dew. My drinking's back on the uptick again... though not as heavy as it was last year, so that's something.
