Yes that's B.C. (I lived in the province for 2 years, my wife grew up there), however it's also (almost certainly) Vancouver, which has also brought us the delightful insanity of: Crack Shack or Mansion? The house prices are so insane in West Vancouver, that in some places, $1,000,000 houses are indistinguishable from places that have actually been busted as Crack Houses! When that movie came out, my brother thought he was saying "WHO'S YOUR ISRAELI?" when he shouts "BONESAW IS READY!"
My autistic son saw this scene when he was around 4 years old.
I had to play "I got you for three minutes!" with him so many times that I swear I get PTSD symptoms just hearing the clip.
But it wasn't nearly as frustrating as the 6 months of trying to figure out his fits when we didn't know what the "beater park" was and so couldn't take him to it. (We finally figured out he was seeing a commercial for a water park that ended with a "Be there!" call to action)
