Amen.7 movies in 6 years where Farley is the same character (he had bit parts in Wayne's World 1 and 2), also SNL (5 years).
At least 7 movies in 4 years (if you start with Bridesmaids), plus hosting 3 SNL shows.
Obviously in the end this is just my opinion etc etc, but I can't stand her and I hope she just stops making movies for awhile if she can't be bothered to take a role that's not "fat lady that trips and shouts a lot."
Damn, that's some right nice physical comedy, too.Damn, that animation.
But John Belushi had range. Hell in the months leading up to his death, he was compared to Spencer Tracy. Some would argue that Chris Farley was nothing more than an updated John Belushi.
We're already drawing comparisons to Dinosaur.Pixar and dinosaurs? Yay!
Now,given Pixar's track record, will it have more tears than The Land Before Time?
Dinosaur was kind of bland and though the animation was more "realistic", it was honestly forgettable. (-from the person who saw it in the theaters, for whatever reason.) I think this has a bit more cartoonish-feel, so TLBT comes to mind first for me.We're already drawing comparisons to Dinosaur.

The story was kind of average, but the animation was indeed gorgeous and I really remember it more for the almost-won-a-Grammy score.Dinosaur was kind of bland and though the animation was more "realistic", it was honestly forgettable. Yeah, it was delayed last year (when it was scheduled to debut originally) after they made it 2/3 of the way through the film and realized they needed to make some major changes (including replacing the director). Thus, no Pixar film last year and two this year.Apparently this is due out later this year, so two Pixar flicks in the same year? That's impressive.
Yeah I was just reading that. Hopefully it doesn't suffer for those problems like other movies have.Yeah, it was delayed last year (when it was scheduled to debut originally) after they made it 2/3 of the way through the film and realized they needed to make some major changes (including replacing the director). I'm just glad we're getting a dinosaur movie from an animation studio that isn't all about their extinction (Land Before Time, Dinosaur).Pixar and dinosaurs? Yay!

I've noticed those are the ones I end up lukewarm to. They try to fix them, but they can't just scrap what they've been doing and start over, so they try to make a mesh of old stuff plus changes. What you get is weird pacing and a lack of personality to the overall narrative.Yeah I was just reading that. Hopefully it doesn't suffer for those problems like other movies have.
I would give news media serious props if they referred to the movie henceforth as "The Scottish Film".Oh hey, look guys. They made a new movie about MacB -
They made a new movie about the Scottish play!
AAAAH!! Hot potato, orchestra stalls, Puck will make amends!Oh hey, look guys. They made a new movie about MacB -

It's nice of him to hit Post Reply for people, even if they never get to finish typing.
McCarthy is not a one-size-fits-all talent; she needs the right vehicle. Here, Feig has given her precisely the right vehicle, and she shines.
"She's not a one-trick pony, but she needs to show off her one trick in a role dedicated to said trick."Spy is currently at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. The very first critic says:
I've actually heard she shows a lot of talent in this movie, and it might just be her breakout role."She's not a one-trick pony, but she needs to show off her one trick in a role dedicated to said trick."
Matt Damon stranded on a barren planet? Nope, don't trust that fucker.
PLEASE DON'T FUCK THIS UP
