And there'd always be a punchline that involved someone with opaque glasses being a sociopath.
I'm honestly not a huge fan of SMBC, I think he gets a little too wordy and obtuse sometimes instead of just delivering the joke he wants.

It can be funny, but it's very recycled. I think his writing style goes 1: hear about science concept 2: take it to illogical extreme 3: either use kids, politicians, sex, or aliens as a vehicle to drive concept to extreme 4: illustrate crudely, ensuring that 90% of couples in strip are gay couples.

If I had the money to buy comics, I would be reading The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.
Squirrel girl's a funny book, things that go on, in her book are as relevant and important to companies shared universe as Deadpool and Lobo's.[DOUBLEPOST=1431533771,1431533636][/DOUBLEPOST]Related. Read some previews for the new Bizarro and Bat-mite titles coming this June. They look like they're going to be a lot of fun.
I suspect that, just as Galactus' form appears different to different life forms because of his transcendental nature, his slang usage is dependent on the observer. Heck, @Bubble181 probably sees those comic panels in Dutch.
I just hate the art in the book, to me it's right next to Ramos and Land in terms of unappealing.

So apparently the THORS are sort of like Marvel's Green Lantern Corps - a universal police force made up of those who are worthy. So you have The Mighty Thor, Thor Odinsen, Odin, Lady Thor, Thororo (Storm Thor), Throg Frog of Thunder, Beta Ray Bill, Groothor (yes, Thor is Groot), Destroyer Thor, Loki Thor (I am not kidding), etc.
The Thors thing is due to how this whole Secret Wars/Battleworld thing is playing out. They worship Doom as a God now, as opposed to Odin, and are basically his police force on Battleworld.
Apparently he's the Richard Belzer type cop on the Thors corps.
They never forgot. He's shown up on Ultimate Spider-man at least once.
I saw a frog Thor at comic con a couple weeks ago! You just TRY saying a Throg cosplayer isn't a geek, IMPOSSIBLE!

Is this Marvel's Crisis on Infinite Earths or their Nu52? Is this how they're ending Fantastic Four and X-Men? This seems ... like a not good thing.
Basically there's a ton of little sidestories going on while the big one does. It's okay, some are great and some are meh.

So, the Star Wars and Darth Vader comics have been running for awhile now and are both pretty good reads (the art in Vader's pretty hit/miss, though). They take place between New Hope and Empire.

You also have Hyperion (nuclear belt), Karnak (green hoodie, another Inhuman), and Doctor Spectrum, a character from an alternate Earth in the Incursion storyline in Avengers.
