Games on SALE!

Yeah, the clicker game seems kind of pointless to me now. I crafted a badge, got a background and an emoticon out of it. So... what do I do now? Just keep clicking? There's no personal goal for me to attain any more.

Okay, apparently you can get badges for your Steam profile if you reach ridiculously high levels in the clicker game.

So... yay?

Nintendo's having a big eshop sale; Mario games, Zelda games, various others. I'd jump for some of it if I didn't already own pretty much all the ones I want, though I might grab Zelda: Minish Cap.

Today's the second day I coudl get it working on my pc, and already I see a huge differnece in being in an active game vs not so much. I ended on level 550 yesterday, I've been in a game for about half an hour now and I'm already past that. Downside: low low money compared to level, and I haven't even *seen* most of the bosses. Upside: higher levels so....I dunno, better chance at some loot, I guess?

Well, I do have to wonder if Valve has bought some stock in Logitech or some other mouse fabrication company :p^that said, enter once, leave, and let the game go on - you'll keep leveling out of game too.

I have autoclickers left over from crafting in DAOC (and more recently playing CivClicker and Cookie Clicker), but I haven't mustered enough give-a-shit to try the steam thingy.

Yeah, I've done that a couple of times.

I'm just selling my card doubles to buy the ones I need. Not like it's hard to finish the set.

Skyrim Legendary Edition is up there for $13.59. Are the expansions worth it? I know that's an opinion, but that's what I'm looking for.

I'm like you, I only own base skyrim, and from what I've heard Dawnguard is really good (and some mods require it for some reason), but I haven't gotten it. Maybe because I'm worried it'll break my game with 70+ mods in it or whatnot. Plus, I don't feel like I should have to buy the base game again, but the DLC alone never seems to be such a good deal as the legendary edition. But if that doesn't bother you (and you just flushed out your mods, I remember), then I'd say it's worth it.[DOUBLEPOST=1434575551,1434575447][/DOUBLEPOST]Banished is on sale for 75% off (5 bucks), so very worth it if you like management sims. This one's a real challenge, too. My brief review: http://gasbandit.blogspot.com/2014/09/quick-review-banished.html[DOUBLEPOST=1434575596][/DOUBLEPOST]Stick of Truth is 66% off (13 bucks). If you don't have it and have ever liked an RPG or an episode of south park, GET IT.[DOUBLEPOST=1434575661][/DOUBLEPOST]
How is MS Flight Simulator? I've never used it, but always been curious. Do you need a joystick?
I haven't played MS Flight Sim since the 90s, but back then, it was worthless without a joystick.

Sorry, still over my $10 threshold. Backlog too big, won't play it within the next year or so anyway, will get better deal Christmas or next year.

Space Engineers is 50% off. I don't recommend buying it, but I'll take the increased ad revenue on my tutorial series that usually follows a sale/free weekend :D
Soo the boost in views never quite materialized, and to the contrary, yesterday was the first day in over a month I had a net loss of subscribers... soooo... huh.

¯\_(0_O)_/¯

With E3 going on... just make sure folks to check for deals online before preordering/buying games. You'll usually find better deals off of Steam, which you can get a KEY for that works on Steam for less. Last 2 purchases I made the last 6 months were almost 50% off compared to price found on Steam.

I enjoyed both Dawnguard and Dragonborn. For their sale prices, I'd say they're worth it. Hearthfire's an okay little diversion, but there's no denying it's the weakest of the DLCs.

Hearthfire does add a lot of stuff that modders make use of, though, and many mods require it for that purpose.

I'm at work at the moment, but still...Reading some reddits on the Steam summer sale game is annoying. They've gotten to level 10.000.000 by now by cheesing and tactics and scripts. Makes it feel completely useless to play as a normal person. Not that I liked the game very much, but still.

Finally, something I'll actually buy on the summer sale. I wanted Arkham Origins, and it's 4.99.

I want Knight, too, but I ain't paying 59.99 for it.

I know at 50% off it's not what we usually go for but Hand of Fate is a really interesting game that I enjoyed the hell out of.

Ok, so for those curious about using GMG, they will not give you a code immediately. Instead, I'm told that my payment has been processed, and that they will email me a key when the game is released, or possibly a day or two early, depending on the publisher.

I'm hoping this doesn't turn into one of those cases where a digital retailer suddenly 'runs out' of keys.

Yeah, that was my concern, as well. But GMG seems to be pretty reputable.

Welp, that's all she wrote, folks. Just encore sales for the next 48 hours. All in all, like the rest of you, I found this year's summer sale to be a bit lacking. But, then again, my backlog is horrendous. So! If you saw something you thought about getting but didn't, now's your last chance - all the sales from the sale are on sale again until monday noon Central.
