Games on SALE!

Saints Row IV: Gat out of Hell
Saints Row IV: Game of the Century (basically for all the DLC I don't own)
Left 4 Dead bundle (L4D/L4D2)
Double Dragon Neon

$25.

Not bad?

Cities: Skyline and Total War: Attila are both games I'd like to get....But both are still over my acceptable buying price. Otherwise, lots of good games on sale that I already own.

I know this is silly, but Steam actually has Crash Drive 2 now (though the graphics LAG big time on Steam - though that just might be because I've got a game updating).

I believe I have a "gift" copy for anyone that wants it - and can figure out how I can send it to you....

I didn't get a single thing at all this sale.

Not that it was a bad sale. About the same as previous sales, I'd say. I just have too much to play already.

I mean, in my backlog I have stuff like DX:HR, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Witcher 1 and 2, Tropico 3 and 4, and a whole bunch of others.

BTW, what should I play next?

Depends what you feel like. I really loved Tropico 3 for the summery escapism sort of thing, a bit of Populous, a bit of SimCity, some good humor, lots of bad humor :p. I also like the Witcher, good story, nice choices, though a lot of people hated it I kind of liked the fighting style, but it's a pretty bleak world, kinda crapsack, lots of juvenile ways of having puerile sex if you're so inclined (oh who am I kidding? :p But if you want to score the threesome with two nurses, it requires some set up so check out a guide :p). Enjoyable but not as...light in atmosphere as Tropico or such.
DX:HR, haven't finished it, but it's good, too.

If you're gonna play tropico, you might as well skip 3 and go straight to 4, because 4 is exactly the same but with more. Seriously, 4 should have been an expansion for 3, but they wanted to charge full price.

3 already had expansions...and doesn't 4 have another 3 or 4 expansions? In all I'd expect people'd have tired of it all in the same engine :p

Also, each tropico only had one full expansion, and the smaller DLC bits were poorly reviewed/received.

4 is 3 with more meat and 95% of what was in 3, so there's really not all that much need to play 3 if you have 4.

I noticed a 50% increase in my youtube views on the 22nd.

And it's because the Humble Bundle this go around has both Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes and Space Engineers in it (if you spend more than $18).

Space Engineers is iffy, but there's no minimum to get FE:LH, and that's DEFINITELY worth picking up.

Here, just for giggles one more time, is my review of Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes

Blah... I won't have money until after the 31st. I really want to try out Fallen Enchantress (especially the undead dlc). I might just do the better than average.

I'm about.. halfway, I think, through Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and I gotta tell ya... it's really console-ey. I mean, it's pretty, but the controls are pretty awkward, the action is repetitive... it's got kind of a neat story and the models and textures are really well done, and YES THE REDHEAD GIRL IS EASY ON THE EYES, but I don't know if I'll ever get around to finishing the game.

Yeah, it's not a super great game, but it's a neat game with a nice story, and certainly worth $5 or whatever.

It could have been more though, had it not been restricted to console peasants for so long.
