I think the idea was to show how cool the graphics were going to be.It's a neat gimmick and it's a pretty city, but it tells me jack squat about the movie, it's plot, how the action is portrayed, how the acting might be.

Oh cool, so it IS a game.I think the idea was to show how cool the graphics were going to be.

This isn't going to be like one of those playable movies, this is going to be a game you can watch!Oh cool, so it IS a game.
It's not supposed to show you plot and shit. That comes later. It's just a neat thing showing off the city. It's a neat gimmick and it's a pretty city, but it tells me jack squat about the movie, it's plot, how the action is portrayed, how the acting might be.
Without knowing this is for a movie, I would just assume it was for an eagle simulator video game.
And no matter how he tries, he'll never be as cool as his dad.... guy that did Moon and Source Code.
You mean the BLOCKED trailer?Storm and Apocalypse, clipped from the X-Men trailer:
In case it hasn't been posted yet, here is the trailer:
I fixed the image and will work on finding a new video link tonight. You mean the BLOCKED trailer?
Yeah. I've also thought that it gave the studio an extra level of deniability about SPFX issues. "Well, of course it will look better when the real trailer comes out, this is just an inferior copy!" Elim Garak would approve.I never get the whole, release a trailer, then have people host the advert for your film for free... then getting pissed off that somebody is hosting your advert for free...
Same here. I like Singer's X-Men.I really liked Days of Future Past and look forward to this one.
haven't seen DoFP but X-Men and X-2 were fantastic.Same here. I like Singer's X-Men.
Just wait for the Orcs, it'll be skull central.Still not big enough. Also spikes.
It's been a while since I played Warcraft 1, but I'm pretty sure the shoulders were just as big back then... it's just the rest of the armor shrank over the years while the pauldrons remained helmet-sized.[DOUBLEPOST=1436996280,1436996242][/DOUBLEPOST]Maybe it's a Warcraft I or II movie, they weren't as exaggerated back then
....one can hope ;(
Skulls. And Spikes. And fur. And furry, spikey skulls.Just wait for the Orcs, it'll be skull central.
If there's no Alizeesque sexy-dancing in this movie, I'm going to be SORELY disappointed.Thinking Night Elves are gonna get a lot of fan art.
Night Elves are a long way off, I think. This is gonna be Orcs Vs Humans.Thinking Night Elves are gonna get a lot of fan art.
In that case, a mid-credits scene involving the hustle.Night Elves are a long way off, I think. This is gonna be Orcs Vs Humans.

He's not the only one who loves orc-wank. Only, I like savage, brutal, bloodlusty, murderous orc-wank and not pseudo-tree-hugging shamanic orc-wank.I mean, technically yeah, this is basically the first game, I think. Blizzard will rewrite lore on a whim, though, so in reality all bets are off (as long as there's plenty of Orc-wank for Lord Metzen).
Yeah, I don't mind Orcs so much outside of the games, I suppose. In WoW, at least, there's such a heavy focus on them (and Thrall, especially) that it's easy to be jaded about them in general. Them and the Burning Legion, anyway. He's not the only one who loves orc-wank. Only, I like savage, brutal, bloodlusty, murderous orc-wank and not pseudo-tree-hugging shamanic orc-wank.
Besides, it's a film adaptation. It's not going to be the exact same as the games.
That doesn't happen until you upgrade them to Paladins.Still not big enough. Also spikes.
And only 4 characters will ever be on screen at the same time.If it's based on the first game, are we going to have to watch Orc peons chop wood for hours?
