Has anyone heard of this X-Men: Days of Future Past - Rogue Version? Supposedly a different version of the movie with Rogue being a major player. Seems weird that there'd be an alternate version of an entire movie. It was released yesterday.
From what I've heard, it's really just more of a director's cut, longer and with scenes and plots that were originally cut for time or pacing added back in.Has anyone heard of this X-Men: Days of Future Past - Rogue Version? He's generally pretty huge, yeah, that was the other thing that stood out to me.He's so tiny! Isn't Apocalypse like 8 or 9 feet tall?
I'm hoping these are future costumes, and that the present costumes will look a lot better.Storm/Apocalypse/Psylocke:
Munn looks like a rushed cosplay, and Apocalypse looks like Ivan Ooze.
I think anybody smaller than Jason Momoa is bad casting for Apocalypse. He might even be a bit on the narrow side. He's generally pretty huge, yeah, that was the other thing that stood out to me.
I saw quick little photo shop. Add some mouth lines and a bit of size and he looks a lot better. He's so tiny! Isn't Apocalypse like 8 or 9 feet tall?
Psylocke looks just fine here too, and Magneto looks rad. Of course, the years long crush I've had on Olivia Munn (and Fassbender for that matter) means it's hard for me to dislike either.Magneto's looking pretty slick, though.
[DOUBLEPOST=1437095756,1437095697][/DOUBLEPOST]Rumors are floating that the Apoc we're seeing isn't the final, post-power drain form, and after he's dined on some Mutants he'll be much bigger and more in line with the one people know from the books.
I looked more into it. It seems like it's just an extended edition; the ad I saw made it sound like something else. I need to stop believing ... anything. From what I've heard, it's really just more of a director's cut, longer and with scenes and plots that were originally cut for time or pacing added back in.
For me, I actually like the look of the armor. It sort of has an Ancient Egypt feel to the touches, which I dig. I think you're right about the color scheme, though. If they wanted an Apoc that didn't look gaudy, they should have gone with a colour scheme more akin to this:
imo, ofc.
I don't honestly know much about her save that she's been like two or three different people, I guess?I never liked Psylocke as a character, to be honest.
She was Irish, then ninjas got popular, so they came up with a cockamamie scheme to turn her into a Japanese ninja.I don't honestly know much about her save that she's been like two or three different people, I guess?
I think she is/was Captain Britain's sister, so not Irish, but the rest is pretty accurate. She was Irish, then ninjas got popular, so they came up with a cockamamie scheme to turn her into a Japanese ninja.
I can't necessarily speak to that, considering when I think '90s I think "Dark and Gritty", but she certainly was swooped up by the ninja fad. She was originally the psychic sister of Brian Braddock (also known as Captain Britain), but then she was abducted by the Hand and her mind was transferred into the comatose body of a skilled ninja named Kwannon. Was Psylocke was the "patient zero" of 90's comics?
They could just compile the hrs of gameplay from Youtube and put a sound track on it. Kids love that stuff. And, by kids, I mean me. Let's play Minecraft! So at first I was thinking why, but then I realized there are throngs of kids that go to a convention centering around the game. This movie could be two hours of the PC walking in a straight line and it would make billions.
That's the face of a man who has to live without his soul.Well...seems Adam Sandler is taking the news well.
I made sure to mention his name, because for a second, I honestly wasn't sure who it was. I've never seen him look so deflated. That's the face of a man who has to live without his soul.
You're not kidding. He looks like he's gearing up to play Leon in a remake of The Professional.Dear god, are we sure he's actually still alive and not a reanimated shambling abomination?
