So the General Manager Kramers his way through my office door this morning and drops a laptop bag on me. "I need you to look at this."
"Ok," says I, "What am I looking at?"
"I dunno," says he, obviously distracted and twitching from trying to think of 19 things at the same time. "My son borrowed it, and now he says it isn't working right and I'm gonna be gone for the next 2 and a half days soooo..."
"... you need to be able to use it." I finish for him.
Fearing the worst (this is not the first time I've "fixed" something his son has borrowed), I fire it up.
Yep, somebody reinstalled windows 7 on this laptop (other than me), and they installed Professional when the laptop's sticker is only for Home Premium. So the product key won't work for it. Aaaand it's drizzled in viruses.
