I know kebab places around here who have the same size.
American "kebab" refers to "sish kebab"; meat cooked on a stick. European kebab refers to "döner kebab", meat cut off a vertical roaster. "döner" is the literal Turkish translation of the Hebrew word "shoarma" or "shawarma" in its Anglified spelling. "Kebab" just means "roasted meat" with no further info as to how it's roasted.
If you can get the kebab to me, I'll gladly dispose of it.
