I see the "pocket" edition becoming the canonical edition, with the WinX version following it, and the Java one winding down.
Makes sense actually. They're probably getting more money incoming from the pocket (C++) edition right now. And really, it's a way to get everything to one codebase, as that's how the iOS and Android ones are written. I'm sure it's just another "Front end layer" on top of that for the WinX version. I see the Java one dying eventually. What that'll mean for linux/mac users, I dunno. They need to do the same as WinX and such, with a "layer" on the front for them too, with again, the same back-end codebase.
