My 8 year old son made dinner for me tonight and had it all ready for when I got home from a long day of work. The kitchen is a mess but I don't care, he's awesome.

What pray tell does an eight year old make for dinner? I was an adept quesadilla/grilled cheese maker by that age.

In October I'll be picking up another shift at 2nd job. I'll be working 7 days a week but it'll mean an extra $400 a month.

It's not just for October, it'll my shift from then on. Right now I'm working at 2nd job, 5pm to 1am Tuesday night. With this second shift, I'll also be working Sunday, 10am to 6pm. I was offered either Monday 5-1 or Sunday 10-6 but with Monday I'd have lost a night from my main job.

I get nearly that every Saturday I have to work. I have to work every Saturday. I don't want to work Saturday.

On the plus side, that Saturday pay is what keeps me solvent even though I spend several hours in a bar nearly every day. I just hope this (I'm there right now) habit goes away when I stop working Saturday.

. . . if I stop working Saturday.

I only got Netflix for the first time a month or two ago, myself. I refuse to give Hulu any money, though.
