Ramada offers an employee rate at Wyndham properties. I should see if they also have a "friends and family" rate, too.
I had an NYC vacation at an $8.15 an hour wage. No reason you can't do just as well or better... with a little inside help.

I thought of the joke when I first mentioned the green shirt. I just didn't want to respond to my own setup.Hot damn that was a good joke. I wish I'd thought of it.
Now I just feel like the unnoticed straight man, while @Ravenpoe gets all the laughs.

Finished new build for Cranky (details forthcoming).
Accidentally installed as Legacy BIOS instead of UEFI and didn't discover until after he'd loaded most of his stuff.
Then did it again* (but caught this one before the loading commenced).
Third time's the charm...

*Thanks, ASUS, for working really hard to make sure people trying to install Win7 won't fail, even if it means extra work for people who do know what they're doing.

Hey, we never get St. Patrick's Day off, so whatever, Columbus complainers.
Basically, Columbus Day exists for two reasons:
- A bunch of Catholics thought kids needed a positive Catholic role model, so they lobbied Congress and picked this guy.
- The banks wanted another bank holiday.
More specifically, the Knights of Columbus were looking for an Italian-Catholic role model for little Italian kids to look up to.
They should have tried harder.
