Sent. You're going to need to find a third in order to play. I wouldn't have used my third if I'd known you couldn't even play the solo version.
Damn. That's.. damn.TotalBiscuit's cancer is back. It's popped up in his liver. His doctors have told him it's inoperable, and that he has 2-3 years to live.
Fuck. He didn't seem like a bad guy.TotalBiscuit's cancer is back. It's popped up in his liver. His doctors have told him it's inoperable, and that he has 2-3 years to live.
He had bowel cancer, and had been getting treated for it over the past year. After his last operation, they had thought he had beaten it, because there were no signs of any remaining cancer. But now his CT scans show cancer in his liver, and they're saying it's incurable.I didn't even know he had ever had cancer in the first place.

I've posted about it before, and it does look very interesting to me, but so much of it is SO GODDAMNED DARK. I'm reminded of late 90s gaming where every goddamned game was pitch black all the freakin time. Serious Sam was such a breath of fresh air with its brightly lit, colorful environments.Vermintide looks kinda neat. It's like a Warhammer version of Left 4 Dead, I guess? Not my thing, personally, but I know many on here would probably dig it.
LENS FLAAAAAAAAAAAREReal is brown. Or grey. Or black. Or breyck.
All of which describes that van-art quality pic of Jenny in the second outfit I made her that I showed you.LENS FLAAAAAAAAAAARE
BLOOOOOOOOOOOOM
To be fair, it's Warhammer. They literally came up with grimdark.I've posted about it before, and it does look very interesting to me, but so much of it is SO GODDAMNED DARK. I guess I just prefer my grimdark more grim and less dark.To be fair, it's Warhammer. They literally came up with grimdark.
The video Nick posted is the first I've watched of Vermintide, and it didn't look any darker than Left 4 Dead 2 to me, especially since it showed off a daylight map as well. If the game is mostly lit like that promo video, I'd be fine with it.I guess I just prefer my grimdark more grim and less dark.
If it was gameplay of the Beta, the beta didn't have the finished lighting in it.The video Nick posted is the first I've watched of Vermintide, and it didn't look any darker than Left 4 Dead 2 to me, especially since it showed off a daylight map as well. Then I watched a PC Gamer video of gameplay, and I couldn't see much of anything. I'm not sure if that's Youtube's compression ruining what's visible to the player, or if the game is actually that dark. If it ends up looking that dark, it'd be awful.
Not that I'm likely to be able to play it either way, since I don't have a system to run it.
So we'll likely not being hearing much anything about Kojima until December at the earliest, because that is when his non-compete clause expires. But I suspect we're ether going to see him found a studio or join another big name once it happens. From: Why Did Hideo Kojima Leave Konami?
On Friday, October 9th, Hideo Kojima left the Tokyo offices of Konami, the video-game company where he had worked since 1986, for the last time.
Yay!Then he'll be able to make more games that get very weird about women!
Sounds like erotic violence to me.So apparently Konami is claiming that Kojima's just "going on vacation" after MGS5 and not leaving the company. I'll believe it if/when he comes back from this "vacation".
