I always wondered if they had an open marriage, and just weren't up front about it because it's still not really an acceptable thing.

I always figured that they're more interested in power than love, and used each other in a mutually beneficial way.

Dammit, that double entendre wasn't intended, but it opens up such opportunity for a bad Gruejoke, but I can't be bothered figuring one out.

This is what I always assumed, too.

They must not be counting migrant labor numbers in their employment info for central Washington state - that's pretty much all orchard land, so it's rich orchardists spending their money on entertainment, art, travel, and skiing; and almost no resident employment info.

I thought this was a joke, but it’s not. Even worse is that 30% of Republicans in general, and 19% of Democrats also support bombing a fictional country.

Edit: Though, I have to admit, that JAFAR would make a much more frightening acronym than ISIL.... Jihad Assault Fighting American Republicans?

pfft, that's not worth discussing. It's like the people who sign petitions to ban Dihydrogen-monoxide. You say anything sounding official enough and you'll get people willing to trust the authority figure asking them and go along. I'd suspect a similar number of people opposed also didn't realize that it's a fictional country. Of course the survey doesn't track that, and it wouldn't serve the narrative.

Another possible reaction, the person recognized the name and thought "Agrabah, isn't that... isn't... isn't that from Aladdin? That can't be right, can it? They wouldn't ask me a stupid question like that, of course, oh god and I can't ask out loud if that's what they mean, I'll look like an idiot and they'll put me on screen and Jimmy Kimmel or whoever will make fun of me and the guys will NEVER LET ME LIVE THIS DOWN. I'm just gonna nod my head and get out of here as fast as I can."
