Who's a bigger dork? Me for taking multiple pictures of my daughter shaping her body like angles so I could post about her snow angles on Facebook, or her for doing it in the first place?

What, that sounds perfectly nor... oh wait, that isn't a typo, is it. You are both huge dorks, yes.

Just noticed I made my reddit account on Valentine's Day, six years ago.

Obviously I've been in very long, healthy relationships and not sitting at my computer alone on most major holidays.

Never bike in the cold without a scarf if you have facial hair, as proven by my trimmed mustache via frozen facial hair.
Learn2breathright lolnoob.

(seriously, you can avoid losing facial hair to frostbite by taking care of breathing in and out properly. It's just not the most effective way.)

It's weird. Every time Marvel or DC come out with yet another continuation of the same old stuff, I roll my eyes and groan. Then again, when Marvel or DC say "All new, All different", I roll my eyes and groan. I'm not sure what I want from comics anymore.

The same sort of exhilaration, wide-eyed wonder and imagination you got from reading comics when you first discovered them and got interested, as a [fill in age] year old [fill in choice of descriptor]. Sadly, recapturing that magic is probably impossible.

I'm taking a break from facebook. I'm still using messenger because its a handy chat service, but I feel like seeing everyones' lives is doing me a lot more harm than good.

I'd say the odds of me making it a week are < 5%

I'm going easily more than 5 years now, and I couldn't be happier. Twitter I find much better for need of social networking, Facebook is just... yeah.

In before @fade comes in to mention that people who don't use facebook always have to comment on it.

I usually hang out in the Steve Hoffman Forums and Audiokarma for reasonably intelligent discussion of things vinyl and stereo gear. But then I wander into /r/vinyl and run headlong into the kiddies with their Crosleys, Jensens, and Ions wondering why they can't get anything to work. It makes my brain want to seep out my ears and go cry in a corner.

We were at the grocery store earlier and saw they were selling Takis (Fuego!), so we bought a bag. Spicy chips aren't really my thing, but Mr. Z wants to thank you guys for the recommendation. So, thanks, @fade and @Gared !

Someone in our office is apparently enjoying a mid-afternoon snack of, as far as I can tell, garlic. The whole office is filled with the aroma of garlic.

Fortunately, I like garlic.

My coworker and I were googling rabbits at lunch and showing each other the pictures because they're so cute.

My google search was full of cute. So was hers until she cycled through the bunny pics and got one of a dead rabbit fetus with birth defects. Wtf Google! And wtf whoever posted that and tagged it "bunny".

Tried to dye my hair one single dark color to ease the growing out process, and the dark red I picked turned out black everywhere except on the hair that I keep buzzed, so hopefully within the next few days it will all fade to that shade. Because I don't think I look all that good with black hair.
