Maybe that's what the end of Birdman meant. Before his daughter entered the room he donned the Vulture suit and flew out the window to be in Spider-Man.

But even the light is distracting.Ehhhhhh, if the sound is turned off, I give zero shits. If they have text sounds constantly going off, then I'd rage.
I say this as a parent who gets trapped watching the worst movies ever.
I want to pay $20 to enjoy a movie in a high quality dark, environment without people's phones going off, light distracting me from the film and people trying to outstanding the movie with their comments. Shouldn't I be able to that?I'd rather have texter sounds going off than seeing the bright phone screens in my peripheral vision in a dark theater. I don't really care about these as long as they're labeled for adults/non-morons to avoid. If you wanna pay $20 to half pay attention to a movie, you should be able to do that.
yeah, i think we're on the same side of this? i was saying if they're gonna do this, they should be clearly markedI want to pay $20 to enjoy a movie in a high quality dark, environment without people's phones going off, light distracting me from the film and people trying to outstanding the movie with their comments. Yes. If I understand correctly, they are creating separate environments for people who want texting and people who don't, allowing audiences to choose for thrmselves. I don't see a problem with the idea, though I doubt it will keep people from being selfish assholes in theaters where it is supposed to stay dark and quiet.I want to pay $20 to enjoy a movie in a high quality dark, environment without people's phones going off, light distracting me from the film and people trying to outstanding the movie with their comments. Fair enough. Although I'm shuddering to think what it will be like in AMC theaters if they've only now decided they don't care.yeah, i think we're on the same side of this? i was saying if they're gonna do this, they should be clearly marked

Something tells me this won't be a 3-part saga detailing the genocide and harvesting of that world by the glorious Imperium
Some time back, I informally kickstarted among my friends the cost of a midnight ticket to see DISASTER MOVIE with the expectation that I write a very detailed review. I took in one of those note pads like reporters use and a pen and wrote down all the terrible, unfunny shit in the movie. Related: writing in the dark is hard and I could barely read my own scrawling. But I still have that notepad, and every time I look at parts of it I laugh heartily. If theaters allowed texting, I could post to HF a running commentary of whatever bad movie I'm watching at the time.
Actually, what am I saying, I'm in Taiwan and we don't kick people out for texting here (AFAIK). I can commentate as much as I want already!
But texting is part of who I am and you are opressing me for not letting me be the person I really am.
"I love this part." "Haha, he's so funny." "I'd jack to that." "Best movie ever, not ironic."If theaters allowed texting, I could post to HF a running commentary of whatever bad movie I'm watching at the time.
Has anyone seen the art of realistic Pokemon? It's not pretty. This sounds like a bad idea.A bidding war has begun over the film rights to a live-action Pokemon movie.

Don't get them wet, and don't EVER feed them rare candy after midnight.Has anyone seen the art of realistic Pokemon? It's not pretty. This sounds like a bad idea.
