Playing this brawl was like watching 4 year olds try to jump rope.[DOUBLEPOST=1467216086,1467216036][/DOUBLEPOST]
Thing is, it was the enemy mei that raised McCree, so she sabotaged her own team.They also had a few times were an enemy Mei in-inadvertently helped the player, my favorite being the ult-ing McCree who was unable to get targets through the Reinhardt shield, only for the enemy Mei to accidentally raise him high into the air and exposing all the players behind the shield to a painful death. Also love the hook save.

Tonight we had the misfortune of being put on a team in a competitive mode game with a guy who intentionally threw the match. Said right at the start of the match that was his intent, so all he did was run out to get killed to build the other team's ultimates and put up mei walls to block his own team (us) inside the spawn.
Kinda sapped any patience I had for shit after that.

You did not see our last team's idea of strategizing in chat. It was painful.
Also I literally did 9 rezzes in the first two minutes of our attack round (which is more or less a waste because) and we couldn't even get to the bridge in Dorado because the other team kept flanking and only Snuffles and I gave a shit.

Haha funny enough after you all left last night, Snuffles and I played two more games and got royally stomped. I don't know if our team just was not organized an iota, or the other teams were just having great synergy, but we were basically meat for the grinder. I think we all just work better when there is more of us and less randos.Clearly the absence of Scythe Rexx is the problem
BTW, sucks about that guy intentionally throwing the match, I hope you all reported him, Blizzard will do something once they see the report and check the chat logs. They take the competitive side of the game very seriously (just ask the thousands already banned for cheating)

We just need to figure out a 6 man team to pull ourselves out of this slump.

Not sure where you are looking, one of the most popular ships on tumblr with tons of doodles and art is Zarya X Mei.
The most popular from my own observations seem to be Hanzo X McCree, Widow X Tracer, and weirdly, Zenyatta X Genji, with Zarya X Mei taking up the forth spot.
(oops, wait, I forgot Pharah X Mercy, which is actually up there with Hanzo X McCree, so that knocks Zarya X Mei to fifth)

Haha. I remember in one of the highlight videos I saw recently a character died out of the blue on the Numbani payload, totally confused, then it cuts to the killcam and a Zarya leaving the spawn area launched on of her alt fire grenades in a perfect arc all the way over the nearby buildings and right on top of the guys head, killing them before the Zarya even got to the corner of that same building.
Zenyatta+Genji doesn't sound that far-fetched, they're the ones farthest on the mecha- end of the spectrum.
And I was gonna say that of all the shippings I've discovered, the Hanzo/McCree pairing seems to be the one I would expect voted most-likely-to-be-shoved-under-the-bed-when-mom-comes-in.
I noticed in Gas' videos that the game makes all appropriate weaponry respect gravity, so I'm happy to see that "lobbing" is 100% a viable strategy.
