Yes.Wasn't GFWL shut down more than two years ago?

But quite a few developers didn't bother to patch it out of their "old" games. It's one of the biggest examples of these types of DRM coming back to bite legitimate customers in the ass. People jsut aren't supposed to play games over 5 years old, apparently.Wasn't GFWL shut down more than two years ago?

If you mean you don't have the very first game, you'll just be a little confused by the Present Day storyline, but the real game will be just fine. I'm sure you can find a summary of that online, or even a video playthrough of it (which is really just a series of interactive cutscenes. Long, boring interactive cutscenes)[DOUBLEPOST=1471727047,1471726917][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh, and if the 3 games you got are Assassin's Creed 2 and its sequels, then got the best of the bunchOn that subject: I just scored 3 Assassins Creed games for free (along with Halo: Reacharound, or something like that), but they don't include the first one. Am I going to be lost or should I read up on it before playing?
Given my gaming habit, I've got a good year before this question becomes really relevant.
I was very interested in this bundle! Until I saw most of the games that interested me were PS3 codes, and I don't even own a PS3 anymore. Ah well.Hey @Zero Esc, you're like one of the few people on here that games regularly on a PS4, right? Well, how's this Humble Bundle for ya?
(And, I mean, if there's anyone else that might be interested.)
Shit, so they are. Well that seems completely silly when we're into the next generation.I was very interested in this bundle! Until I saw most of the games that interested me were PS3 codes, and I don't even own a PS3 anymore. Ah well.
It's a much better survival crafting game than No Man's SkySubnautica's 20% off on Steam. Anyone here played it? How is it? It's been on my wishlist for a while, and I rather enjoyed diving in Thailand, so this game intrigues me.
Much more reasonably priced too, I'll bet. It's a much better survival crafting game than No Man's Sky
Pocket Fighter is so much fun. You'd think it'd just be a gimmicky cash-in on chibi characters but oh my God it's just the best thing. They should release Pocket Fighter onto the PSN.
Still Origin for PC? Pass.Battlefield also has a thing, giving away all the BF4 expansions for free for all platforms until 9/19.
All the blue and orange you can handle, now for free (assuming you already own the original game).

I assume you have to use Origin for the base game, so I suppose anyone taking advantage of this knows what they're getting into.Still Origin for PC? Pass.
A few months ago, somebody gave me a copy of GTA5 as a present.GTA5 is on sale again for nearly 50 (Canadian) dollars. Game's going on two years old now and it's still full price.
Fixed.Weird, I meant to post this in Games on Sale. I fugged up.
Downloading the ISOs might actually be legal, so long as you choke off the upstream traffic.I still haven't gotten around to putting an optical drive in my rig so I can install it yet.
As astonishing as it is, I'm actually not running Daemon Tools on my rig. Never needed to load it on this one, in the last 3 years.Downloading the ISOs might actually be legal, so long as you choke off the upstream traffic.

Well, given that I actually HAVE the physical copy of the game, Pat was just suggesting I get a pirated copy as a workaround for being too lazy to install a DVD drive (seriously, the drive is sitting there on the shelf, just waiting to be put in the case and plugged in), but I could still use my own CD key and whatnot so that it would be a "legit" copy, and I'd still get all that stuff. Albeit with the same thing I said before about it using Rockstar Social Club instead of steamworks. The thing about GTAV is that they release a lot of new content, particular for GTA Online, even if it's something as simple as new bundles of clothes, vehicles, and emotes. Not to mention the cubic fucktons of user created content.
Okay, but I was addressing the "it's still full price even though it's 2 years old" complaint from Frank. I probably should have quoted his post.Well, given that I actually HAVE the physical copy of the game, Pat was just suggesting I get a pirated copy as a workaround for being too lazy to install a DVD drive (seriously, the drive is sitting there on the shelf, just waiting to be put in the case and plugged in), but I could still use my own CD key and whatnot so that it would be a "legit" copy, and I'd still get all that stuff.
