No, I think the series got pushed back until October. The first episode isn't until October 11th (as per their own schedule) at which point Candle Cove is a six episode series. We're getting the second series (No-End House) sometime in 2017.

I honestly thought it was only a trilogy, though I also can't distinguish separate movies out of what I remember of them.
POTC 1: Zombie pirates
POTC 2: Sea monster pirates
POTC 3: Teased as ninja pirates but then actually sea monster pirates again
POTC 4: Jack Sparrow vs Blackbeard
POTC 5: Whatever this shit is; ghosts I guess?

Somebody doesn't like Jack Sparrow, there's supernatural things involved, while they chase a nautical-themed macguffin.

Yeah. It's gotten old. It's not even like they're terrible movies, but they only know one plot, to the point that even though the third movie was directly following the second, the writers had to throw in a bunch of new bullshit as if they had no idea how to do a different kind of story.

I'm not getting dragged to this. I refuse.

Straight up, what I'd want for the finale of Pirates is Jack Sparrow working for the Americans with Lafayette during the American Revolution.

I'm just hoping they finally bring Murray in, been waiting for that hilarious skull for AGES!

...seriously this film franchise was supposed to be the "Monkey Island" franchise.

On Stranger Tides takes place in 1750, so Jack Sparrow's going to need to start taking better care of himself if he wants to make it that far.

Yeah, it looks terrible. It's also directed by a guy with no martial arts or even much directing in his background, so you know the fights won't be up to snuff either.

The worst part is that there's a fascinating story there, and it's been shoved off to the side so we can follow the adventures of Random White Dude.

Just... why? Who the hell greenlit this idea?

Written by Peele? Interesting.[DOUBLEPOST=1475623413,1475622866][/DOUBLEPOST]I didn't even recognize Bradley Whitford!

Oh, written and directed by Jordan Peele? I'll bet this'll be a funny trailer!

(two minutes and thirty seconds later)

... I am honestly terrified.

Da Fuck???

Ummm... no. I'm good with less nightmares! I'm glad I saw this in the morning so I can have all day to forget about it!
