I WISH I could get anime into my kids' diet, but thus far, Pokemon is the only thing to come close.
The worst part was, my daughter got over Caillou... then my son started watching him.... so my daughter started watching him again. *eats Glock*
Thanks to Netflix, my daughter's been into quite a few animes, although she is now suffering through the latter Rurouni Kenshin seasons, as well as going through YuGiOh. My son is crazy about Lego and Angry birds, which led him to Star Wars and us watching all the movies, Clone Wars series and Rebels, together, and got him interested in Harry Potter, Jurassic World and the Hobbit. This Christmas I'm getting him Lego Indiana Jones, and we're gonna watch the movies after playing the games.
But my 4-year old? Backyardigans and some weird clown show from Brazil, now its Pokémon all day long, with the odd Peppa thrown in, and worse, has started marathons of Dora and Diego on Netflix.[DOUBLEPOST=1479913437,1479913330][/DOUBLEPOST]Nothing is freakier then getting out of the shower at night, walking to your living room with a towel on, and have Dora staring out at you from a paused TV screen, awaiting an answer for a question.
