Just got back from handing Athena to the in-between, who it turns out was one of the rescue people who first adopted her to us over two years ago. Athena seemed not to care a lot, just annoyed that she was in the carrying case. She'll be with her new owners and their rats this afternoon and they'll send us photos soon.

It's so weird to be in a house without pets, but we did the right thing.

Thanks for hugs, guys :) but holy crap:

They love her. The new owners sent an update after all the rats were together. The older rats were really curious about her, and one of the young white puffballs that looks a lot like her has decided to attach herself. She's a little bristly in the lower photo, but it sounds like she's acclimating pretty damn fast. They also said we can visit if we want.

I'm so happy for her. She went from being alone two days ago to having seven cagemates.

They shut down the alt rock station here and replaced it with Christmas music, and now there's a hummus recall?

#THANKS TRUMP

I think the three most despised characters in television must be Joffrey Baratheon, Lori Grimes, and Skyler White. Anybody else think of any additions to that list?

I'd like to omit Skylar White given her realistic reaction to having a damn drug dealer for a husband, and add the annoying little pussy that became J.D. from Scrubs.

That's oddly the thing though, I wasn't really annoyed by Skylar. I got why she was mad, her husband betrayed her trust, what was she supposed to just BLINDLY go with that?

I wasn't annoyed with Skylar either, but I know that's the uncommon reaction. I think the more noticeable Walt's transformation is to the viewer, the more they feel for Skylar, whereas if you see Walt as the hero, Skylar comes off ruining the adventure.

I wonder if it means anything thatt I basically just worked a 12-hour day but didn't feel it noteworthy enough to post in a rant or whine thread.

Dawn Summers from Buffy, Ted from How I met your mother, Emily from friends, the girl in IT Crowd, Lori from The Walking Dead, And Laurel from Arrow, although the entire show now is as despised as she was.

Being a dad and having to watch cartoons, add damn Peppa Pig and Ash Ketchum to the list.[DOUBLEPOST=1479875750,1479875682][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh, and Wesley Crusher, the first one I ever complained about online, back in the 90s

Ohhhh fuckin Peppa Pig. And that skinhead, Caillou. Amirite?!

Moooooooootherfuckerrrrrrrrrr, you have NO idea.
My daughter hated Cailou, but I have somehow started to block out all the annoying bits of all of the toddler cartoons my children loved. I liked Pokemon, and Spongebob, and I got my daughter to watch anime like Slayers and SMJ, and Sailor Moon, so I skipped a lot of really annoying cartoons once she left the toddler stage.

I WISH I could get anime into my kids' diet, but thus far, Pokemon is the only thing to come close.

The worst part was, my daughter got over Caillou... then my son started watching him.... so my daughter started watching him again. *eats Glock*

Have you tried series like Doraemon, Conan, Shin-chan, Hamtaro, Magical Doremi ...? Those were the less-common gateway shows of my youth (for kids where DB and Sailor Moon didn't do it).
