Former President and Convicted Felon Trump Thread

Yes, because Africa is so tiny.

—Patrick
Do you know how often I have to teach my students that a) Africa is not just one country, and b) that it's the 2nd biggest continent after Asia? Most of them seem to think that all Africans belong to one country, speak one language, and live on a small continent cut off from the modern world.

Trump has the same intelligence level as a young teen, is what I'm saying.

In fairness to your students, all y'all also seem to think Americans belong to one country, speak one language, and live on a small continent cut off from the modern world. :awesome:

Dolt45 is a monster who has surrounded himself with monsters.

A comment on that article blotsfan linked, "The Venn diagram of 'Republican' and 'rapist/child-molester' is damn near a single circle."

I'll go one further: The Venn diagram of "Republicans in Washington DC" and "those who have committed, or aided and abetted, sex crimes" is a circle. At this point I can't come to any other conclusion. The evidence suggests that every single Republican working at the federal has either committed a sex crime, helped someone else cover one up, or looked the other way in dozens of cases they should have spoken out about. This probably holds true at the state level, though I'm hoping it's not all the way down to every city/county/etc.

"The Best Minds, Impeccable Characters and Very Fine People."

Hatred, Ignorance, Stupidity. Whatever mashup from columns A, B and C, that's the only reason anyone would support Trump or the Koch/Republican party.

I want to state here for the record that I have never been accused of sexual harassment, nor have I ever had non-consensual contact with a woman. Also, I have never raped or catcalled a woman.

Guess I can never join the republican party.

Cats are another disgusting story though....

What the actual fuck. I managed to make it through high school without being sexually assaulted even while mostly hanging out with guys, so I'm going to say plenty.

"There is nobody that has spoken ill will about him," That's simply not true.

"There was maybe a touch." There was a lot more than a "touch".

"Thirty-six years later she’s still stuck on that" That's the thing about trauma, it sticks with you. Being violated and thinking you might die leaves an impression!

"had it happened?" How ridiculous that they're still clinging to pretense. They would not be trying to minimize what happened to Ms. Ford if they didn't think Kavanaugh actually did it.

Now, I'm not so politically idealized to believe these kinds of problems only exist in the Republican camp...but I'm definitely glad that the #metoo movement has focused enough light on this issue to start having real effects on these scumbags.

I mean, Al Franken proves that.

Hahahahahahahaha.
You can always tell when Republicans can't get their party to fall in line when the old white guys start blaming Democrats.

When he criticizes "The Ends Justify the Means"... does he mean times like when Dolt45 said that it's not collusion to get intelligence from a foreign agent, because "everyone does it" and how Republicans have said it's okay that Russia hacked US institutions because "the truth needed to come out"? Or maybe times when children were separated from their parents, locked in prisons with inadequate care, and generally mistreated and absused because "immigrants are a danger"? Perhaps he means all the times that Dolt45 has bald-faced lied to the American public?

EDIT: And let's not forget all the campaign finance violations that many many candidates are guilty of. I guess this means Graham fully supports the Mueller investigation, and wants Dolt45 to be impeached because the unlawful means he used must be punished regardless of them being beneficial to his party.

We saw that collapse when the Repubs blocked Garland for no good reason.

Christ, every time I see Lindsey Graham, I can’t help but think that’s the expression of a man who knows what his own asshole tastes like.
