"Wait okay, so I push this button here, which makes a beeping sound, and then I push the next button over here, which makes the water come on but the first button turns blue. And then if I turn the knob, the buttons all disappear and then the water becomes warm. But then if I turn the knob again, the water becomes hotter, and the beeping sound comes back. There are no buttons now, so I don't know where the beeping sound is coming from. Maybe if I turn the knob back? Okay, the water turned into steam, the beeping sound got louder, and there are four buttons now..."
Where's the machine that goes "PING!"?

If the water has turned to mist, you need to exit the shower and enter again, it's a common bug that's luckily easily avoided. Just set the dial to rain shower before turning the knob a second time, and you'll be able to progress. In the interest of avoiding spoilers I won't tell you exactly what to do next but you're on the right track.

It bothers me that he comes through the time warp with a gun. I mean, I understand the clothes because he can't just be fighting naked all the time, but it's a very crucial plot point that you can't take guns and things through time.

Mr. Z started playing RimWorld a week ago. He's just getting started, as far as mods and such go, but he's added our family into the game. For example, Li'l Z has a Labrador named Pepper that follows him around.
A few minutes ago, he gets a weird look on his face, and says without any prompting, my avatar adopted a muffalo.
His name is Mark Muffalo and we're very happy together.

I'm taking this as a sign that it's going to be popular enough to add a lot of tour dates.
I've already pitched to friends that The Goose should be an assist in Smash and it's soul purpose is to try and steal items from other players and honk at them annoyingly. It's... perfect.
