[Movies] The Upcoming Movies Trailer Thread

I feel that the tone of this film seems to very closely mirror the Hayao Miyhazaki take on the character and world.
I highly recommend a watch of The Castle of Cagliostro for a great introduction to the character if you are unfamiliar.

The Craft: Legacy

I don't remember hearing about sequel being in the works. I'm sure I'm going to hear some very strong opinions about this one in the future.

Trailer 1: Designed to appeal to fans of The Matrix.
Trailer 2: Designed to appeal to fans of Wreck-it Ralph.
Trailer 3: Designed to appeal to fans of Demon Seed?

Still want to see it. Mainly because now I want to see whose fantasy this movie really is...Guy’s? Or hers?

I didn't realize Taika Waititi was in it (I still don't recognize his face when I see him in something)

Tonally, the trailer feels like a live-action Wreck-It Ralph with dashes of The Matrix and the Deadpoolmovies thrown in for good measure.
Ha!

I have a friend whom with I've watched a TOOOON of the Resident movies with. Her and I laugh our collective reproductive parts off at how fucking silly and incompetent they are (yes, even the first one that people give an inexplicable pass to). I may be the only person excited for this huge piece of shit.

You know what the best part is? It'll probably be like 90-100 minutes tops too because PWSA at least knows that people can only handle his jerky ass camera work and fast edits for so long, unlike the other incompetent movie making psycho out there, MICHAEL.

This is where I want my drek, this terrible. This is entertaining.

I feel for the people that care about Monster Hunter.

Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon
Interesting, looks like it's going to be a fantasy world not based on a real culture like Moana was. I see influences from a bunch of cultures in the clothing and tools. In fact I think I spotted some people holding Dothraki arakhs.

Also it looks like it won't be a musical, which is a pity, I like Disney musicals.

I got some Dark Sun vibes from it, though it clearly can't be that setting. Wikipedia says, "inspired by Southeast Asian cultures from Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Laos."

So I finally watched the trailer for RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON. Why didn't anyone tell me there was an armadillo in it?!

Anyway, I felt inspired to write a whole thread about it.
