Felt more like the originally planned more seasons, without the main 3, but TPTB didn't feel it would work.

To me it clearly wasn't just the Lenore thing.

You're right, it wasn't just the Lenore thing, and it could well be that they had more seasons planned, but they still made a decision to wrap up storylines rather than leave them hanging. To me that's caving in to fan pressure for closure, regardless of if they had more seasons planned or not.

Raya and the Last Dragon
Cute film. I like the world a lot but can't say much about the characters. Not a lot of building individual personalities or relationships with each other. I think the baby ninja was a bit too much as well.
Gorgeous animation though.

At first I was going to say this seems like a shameless excuse to combine two WB properties for the $$$.

Then I realized that the insanity of Courage the Cowardly Dog is exactly the kick in the rear that the dull Scooby Doo franchise needs.

We haven't sat down and watched Capture the Flag yet, but Li'l Z loves Craig of the Creek, and I know he's hoping for more seasons.

America the Motion Picture (Netflix)
It's getting blasted by reviewers. I enjoyed myself enough but this movie is just an animated "bro" film and isn't likely for everyone. Actually I really don't enjoy "bro" films but I guess the fact that this one is animated and fucking-bat-shit-insane made it worth it. The humor and animation remind me of Archer and Venture Bros. Speaking of the animation I thought it was really well done.

To describe America The Motion Picture is like saying someone took a drunk history retelling of the American Revolution and put it to film. George Washington pals around with Abraham Lincoln and a Chinese, female Thomas Edison. It's filled to the brim with parody references (most of which are pretty dated), the characters talk like they're modern day frat boys, and Benedict Arnold is a werewolf for no reason except because of how insane an idea (and honestly kinda awesome) it is.

Mr. Z was watching this during Jackbox last night, and asked me if anyone on the 'Forum had been talking about it. His reaction was pretty much the same as yours. At some point, I may watch it myself.

Been watching more Bluey since people have been posting episodes here recently.
This is absolutely a show for parents too. Dad is my favorite character for sure.

Masters of the Universe: Revelations.
Perhaps this knowledge isn't new to anyone else, but I was rather surprised to find that this series is a continuation from the original 80s series and not a complete reboot. There's no need to be caught up on the plots of the original series though as the first episode just establishes that He-Man and Skeletor have been at it for a while. But by the end of the first episode you can see that the series will be taking a darker turn as well as telling an ongoing story rather than stick with the formulaic episodes of the past.
The charm and campiness of the original series is here but with some moderately better writing and voice acting. I especially love how the series embraces the "toy commercial" elements of the 80s episodes and gives some spotlight to the characters and vehicles that made the toy-line so beloved.
I'm two episodes in to the 5 episodes released (this is only part 1). It's nothing award winning in my opinion and I doubt it's going to totally engage me by the end. But it is a nice way to be a little nostalgic without having to dumb down my intelligence to make it through an older episode of what my 5-year old self once thought was the pinnacle of television.
