It has a very commodore 64 look to it.ASML (the semiconductor company) unveiled a custom LEGO art mural entitled “Serene Ultraviolet Waterfall” at its research and development manufacturing facility in Wilton, Connecticut. It took more than two months for professional brick artist Jessica ‘Ragzy’ Ewud to assemble the piece, which spans 20 feet wide by 5 feet high, It features more than 70,000 LEGO bricks. Selected out of thousands to compete on Fox’s hit television series “LEGO Masters,” Ewud’s finalist piece was displayed at LEGOLAND in Carlsbad, California. (SeeGreatArt)
Why would you make a shoe out of LEGO off all things? My feet are twitching in agony at the mere thought of it.Run DMC approved
They cost more than the actual shoe. (kids size...adult size is $5 more than the lego. Which is still insane)Run DMC approved
That's because Lego realized some time ago that there's lots of money in adult geek nostaliga. These ain't for kids. These are really fucking cool but I will just look cause that price tag.
The Seinfeld one actually had a box there in the store, and had a 18+ tag on it.That's because Lego realized some time ago that there's lots of money in adult geek nostaliga. These ain't for kids.
There is reason to hope. All of the sets mentioned in the results this time were resubmissions or reworks. In fact, there is another Community set gaining votes. The Office one is clever, but I'm still mad about the Community set.
If they don't design or name the Dwarves after the 7 from the movie (or do the same with Snow White's design), Disney doesn't have a leg to stand on. That's literally the only original elements they own of that story."Requires further revew" must be code for "Please, Disney, don't sue us."

And that's just the problem. They designed the set after the Disney movie. I had my suspicion seeing one dwarf whithout a beard but looking at the other pictures makes it all to clear. They even use the Disney font.If they don't design or name the Dwarves after the 7 from the movie (or do the same with Snow White's design), Disney doesn't have a leg to stand on.
