Welcome to the people I work with. Couple days ago one of them complained about "jigaboo music". I pulled him aside and told him this time I wouldn't say anything but if I heard anything like that again the conversation would also include our boss. He wanted to argue but I shut him down. The western world is increasingly being run by septuagenarians and octogenarians who simply don't understand, or don't care because they won't be around anymore.
And frankly, most people of the generation below seem to be so thoroughly bought and paid for they genuinely don't understand the concepts of the greater good or long term anymore.
*while Belgium is also increasingly being run by people who belong in a retirement home, they don't actually matter all that much, comparatively
