The people who live in my house are all about Mr. Beast. The GF even orders from Mr. Beast Burger even though I've told her it's a ghost kitchen.

I'd say you're sort-of lucky you've gone this long without knowing? Last I checked, Li'l Z has never watched any of his content, but he's surrounded by perpetually online kids, so he's known who Beast was for years. He seems to have made a brand out of "altruism", which I have always found very suspect, but then he goes and markets... himself, so I dunno. We have an actual Beast Burger restaurant north of us, and I took Li'l Z once. It was a decent burger, so there's that. He's also gotten some Beast-branded candy when he was out with friends, but I wasn't going to buy him any more of it. (He seems to have lost interest halfway through it, anyway.) He's also appeared in Fortnite, iirc. My biggest issue is he seems to be using the "get 'em young, get 'em for life" advertising model, which makes me trust him as far as I can throw him.

What??? Next you'll be telling me you've never seen a promo for SSSniperWolf!

(I don't sign into YouTube unless I absolutely have to, and I clear cookies constantly, so YT's recommendations are almost always based on generic "here's what's popular" and SSSW is always in the top 20 or so recommendations, no matter what)
Haven't heard of this either. I guess my brain is still stuck in early 2000s YT when I had definitely seen all the popular videos. I forget how insanely large the platform is now.

TIL Mr Beast has a restaurant.

Mr Beast is 100% a piece of shit, there is a ton of drama there. If you really want to know a bunch of it, Rosanna Pansino does some videos about it that you can search for.
My girlfriend laughs, because every time I see his candy bars in the impulse aisle at Walmart, I go "fuck mr beast"

I'm kinda surprised I never get any recommendations for SSSniperWolf.

I am pleased to say I never get recommendations from either SSSniperWolf OR MrBeast.

But Youtube DOES keep trying to get me to watch ShoeOnHead.

My algorithm only suggests to me old music, Ms. Mojo and Broadway-related content. Slightly strange, because that's not the majority of what I search for, but I'm not complaining, either. Never change, sweet, sweet algorithm.

Or the kind of women who you talk to at halforums, I guess. That's more or less our entire female userbase.
When I showed it to my wife, she said, "Heck, you already have that at home!" and I could not disagree.
Curious how the spammers managed to home in on that, but I guess even a broken email bot can be right once in a while.

I think I might start a GoFundMe for my cats. I got them last year, but they haven't had a check-up since then.

One of my cats, Ruff, is inconsistently throwing up his kibble sometimes. I worry he might be thinner than he should be. So I'd like to have them both looked at. But I also have debt. If I can get them checked up without going further into debt, it'd be better.
