last 4 years? hmm..
Got divorced, moved to Texas, bought a house, got a girlfriend. Got into 3d printing and am pretty sure I'm annoying everyone on the forum with it (though I try to keep my posts to a single thread). Got into crochet before that, and probably was just as annoying ;)

Last 4 years....
Got married , wife had a brain bleed (she survived and is mostly recovered), lost some family to cancer (Fuck Cancer), got a new job, started renovations.

Nothing major on our end. All three Z's are chugging along with minimal drama, and I hope it stays that way! Most of my time is spent being "Mom's Sports Taxi", which I don't really mind.

Last 4 yrs for me would be medical issues for my dad, grandmother passed away. Still hanging in at work, got promoted, got buried in work. Glad to have a job.

Wife and kids are doing great, thankfully.

Oh gosh. I'm sorry about that, man. Must admit, when I asked, I wasn't attempting to pick at old wounds. Was expecting more of a "we had a guy pretending to be Musk in a tech thread" or some shit kinda drama.

Well, fortunately, in late 2023 I started dating someone NOT a halforum user and then she moved in with me and things seem to be going swimmingly there.

The General and her partner, and Squidly and her pet cryptid come to mind.
And isn't Dirona's +1 on here too, or am I mixing people up again? It's been a couple of seasons, I lose some threads sometimes.

I don't think that's the same thing as "becoming a couple because you visit the same online destination" which is more the flavor of what is meant here.

4 years until now: I returned to the USA after a year and a half stuck in Australia.

Last year I wrote a novel and this year I'm shopping for agents.

Next year I'm going back to Australia, probably.

Things are going okay so far. Came out to my family and everyone was super supportive. Friends as well, even came out with better relationships with some people. I've since lost some of those due to other drama, but such is life.

I just might have to escape to Canada because of the current political landscape. :censored:
