I was asked to give a 2 hour presentation to a local non-profit on how we market, how we plan strategically, how we're doing with social media and how we determine our successes.
It was a hit, everyone left feeling pumped and charged and I think in terms of content, it was really, really good. Plus, it's always good to talk people about something they consider you an expert in.
Plus there was free muffins! mmm.

In like 15 hours, I'll be a homeowner 
So, I had all of my book (75,000 words) plus lots of notes on a flash drive. There was a backup, but it was about 3000 words ago.
Also on that drive, I had all of my recent kung fu class notes: payment schedules, pdf files for rank certificates, etc. No backup.
I lost the drive last week.
I found it 20 minutes ago.

For my birthday, Callistarya got me a 8 gig stick with a clip that I can use to clamp it to my keychain..woot..no more losing that SOB

Spending Friday/Saturday in Lexington with the gf, then it's home to CA for a week to see my folks, my brother and my dogs. Gonna be a good week once I get through work the next couple days.

NOTHING is worse than Taco Bell, Cabana is actually decent food for fast food.
I wish we had Del Taco out here in GA like back home in CA. It's pretty decent Mexican fast food and that's really hard to find out here.

I still got it. After about a year and a half not really playing first-person shooters, I picked up Modern Warfare 2, hopped on, got killed the first few rounds, and now am dominating most matches I enter.
So satisfying hearing impotent prepubescent squeaks of rage when I head-shot them with an assault rifle.
