Ask "C" Anything. 100% Unabridged Truth.

This thread is for users who've been around since the "Early" days, newly registered members, newly de-lurked members and everyone inbetween. I share myself with Halforums because in all honesty, you all have changed me at a very core essence. I view life a little differently, I treat people a little differently and I live my day to day a little differently since joining the community and participating actively in it.Some of you know more about me than others, some know me on an almost intimate level. I hate none of you, yet love very few. Some of you have had more impact on me than you realize, some have had less than they'd hope. All in all, I share myself openly to all questions and to all members.

There is of course stipulation: I will not answer any question that will pertain to me revealing anything about my current real life address nor name, I also will not answer any question that "may" indite me on a criminal level. I keep only that information to myself, otherwise all questions are fair game. Sexuality, Personality, Lifestyle, Past Events, Future Events is all to be asked at your discretion.

One thing I'd like to make very clear, this is not an "Ask Shegokigo" thread. While I do partake in a bit of theatrics on the boards at time, I do not lie, perhaps exaggerate a little, but you mostly get what you see. This is an ask "C" thread (Yes C is the first letter of my real name). You will ask the person whom I am everyday, and will get the 100% Unabridged truth with no exaggeration or theatrics added.

This introduction has gone on long enough, I simply will refer you to my wiki page
http://halforums.wikidot.com/shegokigo
as it was written by one of those who truly does know me on an almost intimate level, it's as close to "knowing me" as anyone has gotten here, or anywhere for that matter and I agree wholeheartly with the entire entry. If there are any questions to my appearance of to post said pictures, I have in the past and they're available here:

If you were to ask me 3 questions, what would they be? :p

NO seriously:

What's your favorite color to wear?

What's your favorite thing to cook?

Who makes you laugh the most?

What can you read/watch over and over and never get tired of it?

Are there any songs that make you really sentimental, no matter how many times you hear them?

How'd you end up specializing in the Sniper class in TF2? How'd you get good?

That dates back pretty far. I remember in games like Golgo13, Duck Hunt and a few other NES titles, that I seemed to have a natural "feel" for leading a shot or hitting a fast moving target. Over the years I've applied that skill to alot of games, some favorites like the Silent Scope series for the Arcade or Counter-Strike/Team Fortress for PC.

The strange thing I find in it, is that I don't try to "aim" but more "feel" my shots. If a target it standing still, I almost never go for the shot unless it's a "snap reaction" to running into someone's line of sight. That comes from learning how to protect myself as a sniper in closed quarters where a split second headshot is all that will save you from a quick death. If I see a target, I don't see where I am going to shoot, but instead "feel" where it "might" go and aim there.

In games like Team Fortress (Huntsman) and Thief, I find that a Bow And Arrow are actually easier for me to use as they add more strategy and complexity to the kill than a simple "point and click" gun. You have to adjust for Arc, Distance of the Projectile, Distance the Target may move and if they may backtrack.

Most of the time I watch a target a few seconds before attempting to kill them, almost to gain an insight to the way they move/think. If they seem a bit fidgity, I know they're not going to run in a straight line and may backtrack a few times. If they're running across a field to an objective, I know that I can adjust for their full sprint capacity and lead the shot.

Again, these are all complexities that I never "think" about or "try to aim for" it's all just a "feeling" that I get when playing a game or firing a rifle in real life.

As stated in a previous thread, I did 3 years of JROTC, so I did get training in firing guns. Also, thanks to a good friend, who advised me to not let my Real Life skill attrophy, I recently began doing bi-monthly visits to a nearby firing range and practice a few hours each visit. Yes I am proficient with a rifle outside of games as well, and even though most would deny it, playing games really did give me a better understanding of the real thing (with the exception of the recoil of the weapon).

What's your favorite color to wear?
Red of all shades. I purposefully wore that dress to take pictures for the forums as it was my favorite colored article of clothing at the time. I also tend to favor dark purple and green.
What's your favorite thing to cook?
Pasta + Sauce. I know it's a simple thing but there are hundreds to thousands of ways to combine them. Different pastas have different textures and consistancies. Sauces can be created so many different ways you never have to have the same sauce twice. A good Pasta + Sauce is a great meal to have with just about any protein.
Who makes you laugh the most?
That's a bit general no? On the forums, in my life or celebrity wise?
I'll just answer all three.
Forums: I can't possibly pick a favorite as there are quite a few, but one who stands out from time to time is Juski. He has a sense of comedy and sarcastic wit that come from odd places at times. His comical doodles are fantastic with their sense of timing and dry humor.
Real Life: Noone really, my brother and I tend to make each other laugh whenever we're together so by default it would be him I suppose
Celebrity: Gilbert Godfrey (Have you SEEN his standup? :laughing), Zach Galifanakis (his non-humor cracks me up) John Pinette makes me laugh out loud everytime, Gabriel Iglesias and Mitch Hedburg. I can watch any of those specials and no matter how many times I've seen them, I always laugh out loud.
What can you read/watch over and over and never get tired of it?
Read: Villains by Necessity by Eve Forward
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Villains_by_Necessity
It truly is my favorite novel and one of the most unique takes I've ever read on "fantasy/wizards and warriors" style writing.
Watch: The Living Dead series by Romero (Yes, even Land/Diary) 28 Days/Weeks, and Forrest Gump/Castaway
Are there any songs that make you really sentimental, no matter how many times you hear them?
Blue Skies (The End Theme to the Hakkenden - English Version) During my darkest time (after my first GF broke up with me) I fell into a horrible "the world is pointless and I don't want to live anymore" state of mind and I had a "Best of Anime" CD that had a certain song in it that pulled me RIGHT out of my depression. To this day if I hear it, my goosebumps flare and my hairs stand on end: Unfortunately I can't find a link to it online to show you.
The other one is at the end of one of my favorite RPGs of all time:

Song starts at 2:00
That game has such an emotional pull to it, and the song itself doesn't have too much power, but after playing through the emotional journey the main characters make together, noone with a soul could possibly go tearless

How awesome is David Bowie in Labyrinth?
You kknow, I sat here and tried to find words but I just can't. Bowie is my favorite musical artist of all time and it has nothing to do with the lyrics of his songs. He's got a special "lyrical voice" that completely entrances me. There are only 3 artists who really have done this to me and they're VERY obscure and different but their voices just entrance me. Bowie, Winehouse and 50cent. I really don't care about their music as much as their voice. I can sit and listen to them day and night, Bowie being the one above and beyond the rest though.
Place you really want to visit but haven't yet?
I'm with you on the cliche. Japan. The entire culture just completely drives deep into my obsession. Not in an "otaku" way but in a "living a life" type of way. I would move/live there if I could speak the language fluently, without a second thought.
Which incarnation of The Joker is the best one ever?
(Movies/Shows/Cartoons)
Well since "comic" isn't up there I'm going to go with Mark Hamil's "Batman: TAS". He truly gave a voice to something that would have been nearly impossible to "direct" someone to do. Hamil brought a sense of realism yet outlandishness that the Joker had been in the comics for so many years. While still rooted in a Super-Hero universe, his Joker remained larger than life and you almost felt like he was immortal in his confidence.

Favorite movie that is way outside of your usual genre of choice?
You know, the one that makes people raise an eyebrow when they realize you are serious.
Might want to re-read my movie favorites I wrote for Cajun. :slywink:

I might never have learned about them either. But when I was younger, my sister's old boyfriend gave me a 5 hour demo of the first one, and I fell in love! I even got the Lunar 2 collector box with the map and pendant and everything. :D

What would you do with an extra $175?

What do you like most about the Netherlands?

What is/are your favourite webcomics?

Do you own the Sims 3 or any other Sims games? What's your favourite part of 'em?

What is your favourite flower?

If you could only quote one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Do you have a quick fuse temper or a slow build up?

What's your favorite sweet snack?

What's your favorite salty snack?

What would you do with an extra $175?
Buy the CE Dragon Age Game+CE Guide, then use the remaining to buy Borderlands and the last couple of Fallout 3 xpacs I don't have.
What do you like most about the Netherlands?
I don't really have an opinion on them, should I? :bush:
What is/are your favourite webcomics?
Life of Riley was probably my favorite, followed by this weird one that I can't remember the name of (It's fantasy sexual based, one comic has to do with the fountain of youth turning everyone who drinks from it into a blond bombshell, when I get home I'll post a link), and of course Erfworld.
I also read on a daily basis: Real Life Comics, Order of the Stick, Penny-Arcade, about 9 in total and some of them are escaping me at the moment (will update when I get home and check my bookmarks)
Do you own the Sims 3 or any other Sims games? What's your favourite part of 'em?
I don't actually, my GF however has Sims 2 and a few of it's expansions. I did give it a shot (for about an hour or two) and just could not get into it personally. Though reading about Sims stories and watching people play it does entertain me.
What is your favourite flower?
To recieve or in general?
Recieve - This is going to sound funny but I love White Roses (could care less about their meaning) I simply love the smell of them.
In General: - Autumn crocus (for obvious reasons) but unfortunately it's going extinct. :(
If you could only quote one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Quote one movie for ever?
Either Rocky Horror Picture Show, Casa Blanca or Jay and Silent Bob: Stirke Back

Thumbs up for the Lunar song; the Boat Song from the PSX Silver Star Story makes me tear up still to this day.

Questions!

1)Is it true that you RAPED and KILLED a GIRL in 1990? Is there any proof that you RAPED and KILLED a GIRL in 1990?
(sorry, had to after you mentioned Gilbert Gottfried)

Real 1) What were you like when you were younger? Have you changed drastically in, say, the last 5-10 years?

2) Have any odd collections?

What's your favorite outfit?

My low cut long sleeve white button up shirt (also known as my old job's shirt - Olive Garden) ,red and black plaid skirt, thigh high boots and my hair in pigtails. Yes, my schoolgirl hooker outfit that I use when I go to our strip/swinger club. It's always a hit, I love how I look in it, and I love how much my GF loves it. :unibrow:

Sum up your life's philosophy in 3 sentences.
"Life will never let me be what I dream of. What I dream of being, will never let me live. Living a false life is better than not living at all."

What's your more embarrassing memory?
This one was actually tough for me, as I tend to block these kinds of memories out after they've happened. A couple that come to mind:
Calling my GF "MOM!" by accident (considering how I feel about my mother, that was doubly strange).
Not being able to hold in "gas" during a four-way at our swinger's club. Luckily I wasn't accused and someone thought the "bed smelled weird". So we moved to a different room.

It's surprisingly difficult to find anything I particularly want to know about the person behind the persona, really.

Hmm.

What's your favorite RPG besides Lunar (Which I missed out on - why did I buy Thousand Arms instead of Lunar?!) and do you have a preferred class?

Edited for approval of hawt boots.

Tell me what you think about me :tina:
At first, I didn't like you much. You trolled or it seemed like you did, incessively. You also came from Forumopolis which of course didn't exactly have a nice outlook on us. One thing that caught my eye early on, was your 0-100mph attacks on anyone who used the word "gay" in a hurtful way or anyone with any kind of anti-gay agenda. I thought you were being an ass and using that as your platform, but over time, reading your posts, learning about Kissinger and your relationship with him, it really opened my eyes to you and your outlook on the subject as a whole. Which of course gave me a new respect for you. Though you can be overly protective of the subject, you really do bring it out from a good place and you mean well.

Your taste in movies is quite good, sometimes almost too good. You have a tendency not to enjoy "shut your brain off" films and hate that term with a vengeance. Which can sometimes put a damper on a good conversation.

All in all, I do enjoy having you around and really do hope you stick around for a good long while. Oh yeah, and post more videos! :slywink:

Ooh ooh, tell me what you think of me next!!!

(I know, horrible question, but it was either that or asking what C stands for.)

What are your attainable goals in life?

What's with the theatrics?

If you feel forced into a fake life, can you still be a genuine person?

And a bonus question, since it appears to be the popular one in the thread...what do you think of me? :p

Do you have a favorite 50 Cent song, and if so, what is it?

Mine's Piggy Bank. :D
Favorite? Hm I'd need a couple:

His version of P.I.M.P. really does test his vocals from the lows to highs, as with most of his songs (that are good anyway) it's got a fast vocal track which suits his style. Many Men is also a favorite. Though if I had to pick one it'd be:
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9kXPjXRbjw[/ame]

I was going to ask a question earlier, but I keep getting distracted by that favorite out fit thing. Yikes. It is only my puritanical nature that keeps me focused long enough to type now.

I won't bother asking what you think of me, for I know that you adore me. Rather, I was wondering if there was a time when you were gaming competitively that the games ceased being fun and became more of a chore to you.

Is there an author/book that you have wanted to read but never got around to it?
The Dark Tower series by King. The R.A. Salvatore Drizzt series. Fire and Ice. Most recently the interest in the Wheel of Time.
Do you have a quick fuse temper or a slow build up?
Depends on the thing angering me, but on the whole, I'd say a much longer fuse than most would have.
What's your favorite sweet snack?
Anything flavored in Chocolate Orange. Most especially:

What's your favorite salty snack?
Almonds of all types, especially smoked.

Do you like spicy food?
I like spicy food that doesn't sacrafice flavor for the spice. Like "Nuclear" wings etc. I do enjoy a spicy curry or some spicy cajun food whenever I get the opportunity, and living in a hispanic area I have access to fantastic chilies for tacos and salsas.

Also, are you a mind reader? Cause I was cruisin' through the Introduce Yourself looking for your post yesterday. I had a couple of questions, but now I forgot them. Glad to see that you put one up.
I've been told I have the odd ability to read people's emotions, even when they're doing their best to hide them. I guess that's more "observance" than a "skill". As for the thread. I took my time with it because I wanted to be sure I worded it correctly and the tone of the board recently has really taken a turn where I feel this won't spiral into some degenerative hate thread. If you remember the questions, feel free.

Where are the bodies buried?
I also will not answer any question that "may" indite me on a criminal level.
I would have replied with the XKCD image but I couldn't find it.

1)Is it true that you RAPED and KILLED a GIRL in 1990? Is there any proof that you RAPED and KILLED a GIRL in 1990?
(sorry, had to after you mentioned Gilbert Gottfried)
Again, the man has an amazing sense of humor and Off (yet totally on) timing. :thumb:
Real 1) What were you like when you were younger? Have you changed drastically in, say, the last 5-10 years?
If anything, my biggest changes have been in the last 2 years being on Halforums. As a child I was rebellious from as young as I can remember. My parents were very strict Catholics (Father was a Deacon, Mother might as well have been a Nun) so my life was always monitored, restricted and sheltered. Every opportunity I got I snuck around and did all the bad things I could. Watch scary movies, eat things I shouldn't, and play games I wasn't allowed to because I was supposed to be a "prissy little girl".

In the last 5-10yrs I met my GF and she really turned me around. I went from someone with no life ambition, zero life responsibility and no will to really do anything with myself to a bank accounts rep, a future chef and living in a comfortable home and neighborhood. She really changed my life in those aspects.
2) Have any odd collections?
Not sure if they're odd but I have collections of certain comic series "Gen13 and Danger Girl", I own about 700+ Action Figures of all shapes, sizes and genres, I have an extensive collection of NES, GENISIS, SEGACD, SNES, PSX games that are mostly RPGs, Rare and common alike.
