First time?
Well my Aunt was visiting with my two cousins for a stay of 2 weeks from California. My cousins, one male and one female were younger and older than me respectively. I was 14 at the time and my female cousin was 16. My male cousin spent most of his time with my Aunt and my mother as they would go shopping "across" (Mexican Border stores) and my female cousin and I were alone for the large part of each day....
Oh wait, first time on the forums? Oh I've been around since practically the inception of forums on Player Vs Player, otherwise now known as "PVP". I lurked for the first couple of years, as I spent most of my online time on UO and EQ, while checking the forums during downtimes. I found out about it through one of the four forums I was frequenting at the time when a thread about webcomics came up. In the thread they talked about which comics had forums and a few pages in it was announced that PVP was adding a forum page. So I lurked my way over and really never left. It didnt' become my "only" forum till about IMAGE days, by that time I had grown weary of my other haunts due to low populations, in other cases flat out going "broke" and dissapearing all together.

Joined up on Halfpixel to discuss something that was said on a Daily Affirmation and realized soon after creating an account that someone had already covered my point. I didn't want my first post to be "I agree" so I kept lurking for a while.
I believe when I finally posted it was to comment on Kurtz's theories about the CAD pregnancy.

You know, I think I joined around the same time... except I was complaining about the fact that they were non-anamorphic, half-assed transfers of the laserdisc version of the trilogy. Someone responded saying anamorphic widescreen was dumb because "hurrr rectangular pixels" or some such nonsense. Not really sure what convinced me to stick around.
Edit: I think this was also the reason I have a Tarkin avatar... I'm not exactly a big Star Wars nerd or anything.
I'd been lurkin since the image days, and I can't remember HOW I found out about halforums, as I wasn't registered. Just lucky I guess! Then I lurked here until I got stuck in Michigan because of an airline screw up, causing me to sign up and ask advice.

I've been lurking since the Image comics boards, but I'm not sure when I started posting. I mostly checked when I didn't get the joke in PvP or to check on speculation about plot arcs.
I doubt anyone even noticed I was around before the emergence of Halforums. Even now I don't think I have much of a reputation, good or bad, but that's fine by me. I'll just go about my business and hope I don't get lynched if I have to put the cosplay thread on indefinite hiatus due to health problems.
