Notice that ALL your diving videos are from when he was 18 years old and his rookie season. The dude doesn't bitch or dive at all anymore than every other player. You want to talk about someone, why don't we chat about your prospective PK Subban magically stomping on Jordan Staals foot and lacerating his tendon and the same thing occurring to Matt Cooke in the next game (he had to get his skates relaced).
Throughout that whole game I was calling out slashes, highsticks, and crosschecks on the Habs. Why don't you take off your Homer goggles before you go chanting conspiracy. The Habs are lucky to even be in the second round (which is due to largely to a shotty no goal call).

2. You state he doesn't dive anymore.... funny... whenever I see him play he seems to do it ALL the time when he's playing against Montreal. I remember him specifically doing it twice last season. Do you really want me to show you more videos? Look, he goes down faster than a 2 dollar whore. What? Are you going to say he's being competitive? Bah, he can do this in other ways, stop fucken falling down and stop asking for special treatment. In Montreal, he's highly regarded due to his skill and the games always sell out first but we talk about his antics for days after he comes here. Generally, not in the positive light. Mostly that where he plays and what he does is illegal and should be constant goalie interference. The only goal where I can see an argument is the third, and both Hawks were mostly pushed into Luongo.

If anything the Habs got away with a shit-ton of obstruction penalties. Max Talbot was practically date raped on several occasions. Two fluke goals to boot. If it wasn't for Halak that score would have been 6-3.

Eh wasn't their year, rookie goalie rarely lead teams to the Cup. They put up a decent fight especially since they barely made it to the playoffs, can be happy to have gotten as far as they did.

Habs can thank the ref for blowing the whistle early and killing that goal on Halak, and later sleeping and not blowing the whistle on a blatant icing which pushed the momentum in the Habs favor.
That said. I'm totally pissed about the way the Pens are playing. Gologoski needs to fucking go. He's a lumbering jackass who's lack of production on the powerplay and full strength is really hurting the Pens.
Fleury needs to step it up. He gets beat on any and every single shot breakaway that comes at him.
I want to call up Disco Dan and tell him to tell his wingers that if they're going to center up the puck, make fucking sure you're passing to a someone in center and not to the three Canadians hanging out in front of the net.
I really think the best way to produce anything on Halak is to create traffic in front of the net and shoot from the blue line. Gonchar and Letang need to do more shooting and less passing. Everytime they've shot from downtown it's gone in. Crosby, Staal, Malkin, and Cooke can pick up rebounds like nobody's business. The Pens have been playing dump, chase, and center this whole series. It doesn't fucking work. EVERY rebound has been picked off by the three Habs players that line around Halak like a fucking love cocoon.
I wish Malkin would sniper shoot more than try and fumble the puck around.

I'm a bit late, but: Terry Gregson and last nights officials watched Chi's 5th goal on video after the game and easily determined it should not have counted. (re: Game 4).
Chicago seems to be making a lot of contact with Luongo without it being "interference".

Great series! Habs just wanted it more. We were a top 5 man-game lost team all season with all our injuries and after an off-season of blowing up the team. They seem to be gelling and coming together as a team. This feels surreal, considering I had no aspirations of them making the playoffs halfway into the season.
Halak outplayed Fleury and Montreal shut down Malkin and Crosby, two of the greatest players in the game. Cammy redefined what it meant to have an office out on the ice. Gionta was taken down time after time but didn't care and kept scoring.
Right now Philly is ahead of Boston 2-0. I don't care who we face but I would love for Philly to win tonight and force a 7th game. That would give Halak, Markov, Gill, Hamrlik and Pleks an extra two days rest. That could be a huge factor when it's all said and done.
