It just never comes across as a joke. It comes across as discounting a well thought out post with the wave of a hand, with a side of plain insult.
I think that depends on the source, but yeah, most of the comments aimed at Fade lack humor. Perhaps it is just a dig, which would be a pity.
Still, there was that one time Fade got shot and had one of those out of body experiences, and when he came back he was all, "Yeah, I went to Heaven. It was okay I guess, but it was mostly white and everyone was singing all the damn time. Oh, and there were no tacos, and seriously, what's the point if there aren't even tacos. Frankly, I expected better.".
That was pretty hardcore you guys.

I just find criticism so much more interesting to write. It seems like you basically have one way to say you like something, and a billion, evidence-justifiable ways to say you don't. If it helps, I don't really hate much. Except maybe Glenn Beck.

I realize it's a joke, and the strip author probably meant it tongue in cheek, but all the internet kiddies are going to woot for it and perpetuate the myth.

This is neat: A photographer, realizing that most tourist photographers take photos from exactly the same place, composited 200-300 images of each subject from around the web...
I'm posting the link rather than a picture, because the text (and surprisingly even the comments) is interesting.
